DALLAS -- Dallas Mavericks guard Jason Terry had surgery Monday to stabilize a fracture in his left hand. The team said there is no timetable for when Terry might return. Terry, the team's second leading scorer, left the Mavericks' game against the Chicago Bulls at halftime Saturday night after X-rays showed the break. He told the team he didn't know when it occurred. The team said Dr. Scott Oishi and Dr. T.O. Souryal at Texas Sports Medicine performed the surgery to stabilize the fourth metacarpal fracture. Terry is averaging 19.9 points and 3.7 assists in 50 games this season.

this is the game that tells the tale. if HJ can get a win in this one, it bodes well for their chances to slip into the playoffs. if they lose, i don't see how they can make it up with a win against any of the top 3 in district.

33 is pretty silly. 23 is more plausible, but i'd still say highly unlikely. HJ had a chance to lose one by 23 in the first game, and their "never-say-die" attitude kept them from giving up. they closed the gap considerably at the end, where most teams would've just kept giving up points and lost by more. if the hawks can stay out of foul trouble, this game shouldn't get out of hand, and if they can get hot from long range they have a marginal chance to pull the upset.

They're lack of multiple long range shooters is killing them as well. Teams basically key on Abrams outside, and if Texas falls behind, nobody else had hit the longball.
