1. lee gives up 3 more in the 5th, and goes out with runners on and 2 outs.  5-2, giants lead.  not a good sign for the rangers.  this is pretty disappointing, especially considering how he's pitched, and the fact that he was given an early lead.
2. unfortunately for the rangers, lincecum has had three short innings in a row, and is only at 68 pitches after 5.
3. lee probably won't go more than 6.  he's at 96 pitches right now with 2 outs in the 4th.
4. now 3-2, bottom of the 5th.  i'm still pissed about the runs they shouldn't have given up in the 3rd.  lincecum starting to deal, retiring 9 straight.
5. he did a good job pitching out of that, but the damage was done.  should've been a 1-2-3 inning, considering the error and hit batter on a 1-2 count.  that sucked.
6. crap, 2-2.
7. young's error and lee's hit batter comes back to bite him.  i hate to see them get a run out of that. lee still in trouble, 2nd and 3rd, 1 out.
8. the giants have two hits off of lee, but both of them were excuse-swings.  the rangers have been hitting solid shots of off lincecum so far.
9.
Vlad is scary in RF.
very.
10. 2-0.  HUGE run for the rangers considering that it involved three things you don't expect to see: 1. a double by cliff lee 2. a run on a tag on a sac fly from molina 3. andrus putting a ball high and far enough to allow molina to tag.
11. unbelievable run for the rangers in the 2nd!  single by molina, fake bunt turns into double in the gap by lee, of all people, runners on 2nd and 3rd.  sac fly to mid center and bengie makes it home (thank good it wasn't a good throw).  lee moved to third with a nice slide.
12. 22 pitches for lincecum through 1, 13 for lee.
13. nice play by kinsler to double up the runner on 2nd.  the giant's only hit was an excuse me swing on a busted bat... it looks like lee still has it after 8 days' rest.
14. unlucky for kinsler, he tagged that ball, but right to the 3rd baseman for a double play.  lincecum got REALLY lucky to get out of that inning only givng up a run.
15. what was lincecum doing?!!!  thanks, tim!  bases loaded, 1 out!
16. the annoucers said the ball vlad hit was going to center field, but he might have caught a break, because i think that ball might have been fielded by the 2nd baseman for an rbi groundout instead of an rbi single.
17. RBI single for Vlad off of Lincecum's leg!  1-0, rangers lead!
18. 2nd and 3rd, 1 out.  we gotta get at LEAST 1 run here.
19.
Good deal. Coming back from Marshall and boys in Lufkin are sporting your Rangers gear. Bro you should see the the new student center @ ETBU. Gonna be really good for the kids.
every since i was in elementary school it seemed like whatever school i went to had a nice upgrade a few years after i left it :)
20. great start for the rangers!  a single and a hit, lincecum's pitch count is at 10, and he doesn't have an out yet.
21. 2 1/2 minutes into the pregame and i'm already tired of listening to ozzie guillen.
22. Lee vs. Lincecum should be a heck of a matchup.
23. my stepdad is having a kidney removed in the morning, so i've asked him to see if they'll give him a piece of it.  i want to take it out there and see if i can catch anything off of it.  it'd be a hell of a story to be able to say that i caught a big bull red with part of his kidney :)
24.
Bullets good luck to your stepdad thursday. Hope him the best and a speedy recovery. Question? Why did Bochy leave SD for SF? I like him and remember him as a Astro.
thanks!  he doesn't seem overly concerned... he had cancer on this kidney before, and they took out part of it.  they found some more, it's been about 8 years, so they figure they better just take the whole kidney to keep it from spreading.  since he's had a similar operation before, he's not too stressed about it, but it could be 6-8 weeks before he's able to get back to work (he's a carpenter).
25. i'd love for the rangers to re-sign him... they have a couple of billionaire owners now that seem to be willing to spend the money to get him back, the question being whether or not he wants to go play with his buddy CC Sabathia.
