tough play for kinsler on the single, but i thought he might should've made it.

2-out triple, 2-out single, game tied 2-2.  hunter starting to look a little shaky.

rangers up 2-1!

rangers manufacture two runs with only 1 hit, and 25 dribbler to 3rd.  walk, hbp, sac bunt, rbi groundout, rbi infield single.  A-rod screwed up on the sac bunt, he could've gotten slothy molina out at 2nd, but threw over to first.

great bunt by moreland means 2nd and 3rd, 1 out.  rangers really need something here.

AJ might be back to his old self... leadoff walk, then a hit batter.  two on, none out for the rangers...

Hunter had to throw strike 3 twice to finally get it called by the homeplate ump...  i'm not liking where this is going.

at least they got that one right.  if this was a couple of seasons ago, Tommy would have to be wondering what he could do to catch a break at this point :)

it was clearly foul.  let's see what the umps do with this one.  if the call it a HR, i'm going to drive to new york.

the ball made it to the stands, but two or three fans reached across the field of play and didn't even try to catch the ball, but just pushed his glove down.  now berkman has gone deep, and i'm not sure which side of the foul pole it was on.

the good news for the rangers is that Big Game Hunter looked just as good in the bottom of the first!

uh, AJ looked great in the 1st inning.  this is the first game that the Rangers didn't start off the game with a lead after 1.

Giants went up 2-1 today.  if the rangers can get past the yanks, i'd much rather them facing the giants than the phils.

he was asked about it, and made a wisecrack about "not being where he would be today without his hat" :)

a win tonight would be HUGE!  Burnett has been awful recently, so let's hope that trend continues.  the rangers are going to need some runs most likely, as tommy hunter is the most prone to giving them up out of the four rangers' starters.

i'm still sick from game 1.  this should be 3-0, with CC going on 3 days rest.

man, what a game!  several great things came out of tonight... Cliff Lee stayed incredibly hot. Michael Young's bat heated way up. No matter what happens, the worst case scenario takes the series back to texas. Neftali Feliz was fantastic in the 9th, his first non-shaky outing of the postseason.  Now the Rangers can feel confident putting their closer out there in a save situation. The rangers look like they may have finally solved the yankee bullpen.

8-0!

7-0!  rangers can put in darren oliver in the 9th for all i care!
