i gave my positives from last night's game, so i'll give them again: 1. Rangers, after having a down year for homeruns, are crushing the ball, homering in every game of the postseason, and adding 4 tonight. 2. The Rangers got a win with their shakiest pitcher starting, despite the fact that he only went 3.1 innings and left a bases loaded jam for the bullpen to clean up. 3. Derek Holland was incredible, going 3.2 innings, getting out of Hunter's jam only giving up 1 run, and only allowing 1 hit in picking up the win. 4. Vladimir Guerrero, who has looked awful all postseason, went 4 for 5.  that's bad news for anyone facing him. 5. The Rangers, after generating nothing against the yanks' bullpen the 1st two games, have now crushed them two games in a row.  The yanks better go to Mo Rivera in the 6th tomorrow. 6. Darren Oliver came in a tough spot, and didn't suck. 7. Benjie Molina, who had been struggling a bit, went 3 for 4 with a HUGE homerun. 8. Yankees fans and players alike were demoralized for the second consecutive night, watching any slight hope crushed in the top of the 9th.

someone smited me... must be a yankees fan.  just remember, i'll be celebrating this win for another hour before you can smite me again :)

ballgame!

those 3 extra runs make me feel a WHOLE lot better about the yankees singling to lead off the 9th.  yankees fans are garbage, running to the exit. 

i'm trying to figure out what makes me happiest: watching nolan giggle like a little school girl. watching the yankees fans crying like little school girls. watching rivera sitting there with nothing to do but sit there.

cruz crushed that ball.  the funny part was that it took a funny hop up in the 2nd deck, right to the only fan in the area in a rangers shirt :)

never too many insurance runs after what happened in game 1.

berkman smashed that ball!  young picked it with his glove, had it pop out, picked it with his hand out of the air while turning, and beat the runner to second!  wow!

holy hell what a play by young!  that might end it!

can't gripe too much if you're a yankee fan... he shouldn't have dove out of the way, and it would've clearly hit him.

big break for the rangers!  that ball caught his pant leg, and then he popped out!

and fricking oliver in in a huge spot.

another big insurance run on a 2-out rally!  7-3.  let's see if murphy can keep it going!

can you imagine if they'd won game 1 like they should've?  they'd be poised to sweep the yankees.

big 1-2-3 inning for holland, who's been great since coming on for Hunter.  Holland might be working his way into the #4 starter spot if the rangers go to the WS.

glad to see the yankees playing a little D in the stands against their own team as well :)

Washington finally made a pitching move i agreed with. great job by holland to come in with the bases loaded and only give up 1 run.  3-2, cheaters lead.

bases loaded, 1 out.  hunter is done, and probably at the right time.  derek holland about to come into a tough, but doable spot.

after a leadoff single by vlad, AJ grooved 4 or 5 fastballs that the rangers did absolutely nothing with.
