looking forward to getting to see the horns play for the first time this season.

he saved a PK, the ball spun funny off of his hands to his right side, hit about 4 yards in front of the goal, and SLOOOOOOOOOOOWLY trickled back into the net with the backspin as he celebrated wildly to the other side of the goal.

gotcha.
ahh, gotcha. so like the guy asked in the other thread, what made yours a cull again?
I didn't know Sour Lake had a bank.
Let me understand this, Blue. You stated that you watched a youtube video about a bank robbery in Sour Lake and then immediately said that you did not know there was a bank in Sour Lake. Hmmm, interesting. How many banks are in Fannett?
yEP, not sure when your bank robbery happened. Maybe 5 years ago or whatever. But I'm sure your town newspaper is still reporting the event as newsworthy even after all this time.
nah, they are still talking about that state championship a few years back, though... -
I know TVC popped a nice 10-point during bow season, if you want to add the pic to this thread...

This thread is for those who shoot something. Let us know if you get one, or post a picture if you'd like.

apparently there is a MONSTER running around on our lease, but i won't have a shot at him until Thanksgiving week, so hopefully he's still around. My uncle, who's probably killed well over 100 deer over the years swears he's a B & C typical, and that's not all that common in the area i hunt.

my alma mater being exceptionally bad every year at football allows me to root for all local teams.
Is the right side G3 tall like the left side? Hard to tell because of how he is laying.
looks considerably shorter to me. i'm gonna go out to my uncle's this afternoon and see if i can't shoot something.

just looked at the howard payne/umhb score, and it had a wild end. down 2-1, mhb scored in the 85th to tie. hp scored in the 86th to go back up 3-2. mhb then scored twice in the 88th to win 4-3. -
nice! not the prettiest rack, but he's got some character :)

Who would give her a chance at the next level?
bullets13 replied to bh146's topic in SETXsports Archived Threads
my only question is this... what do you do with a bad snap that goes to her? do you have her kicking off as well? in two seasons of kicking i was tackled in a game 3 times due to bad snaps/fakes, and made more tackles than that covering kickoffs. i was a good athlete, but having no real football experience apart from scout team and place kicking, it was always an awkward moment if i was involved in a tackle, either giving or taking. as a coach do you want to be held accountable if she gets smashed by some 260-lb lineman after picking up a bad snap? do you want to be held accountable if she gets hurt trying to make a TD-saving tackle on a kickoff? -

I'm pretty sure there are a few kids there who would do it.
that's what happened to me out at HJ 10 years ago. i was at soccer practice, and the coach came out and i was asked/told that i would be kicking for the football team the next season. i ended up loving it, but i wish i had done it for more than two years. it's a pretty easy conversion for a good soccer player to make. -

that's what we like to call "sarcasm". he's taking a shot at another poster who always comes on here and talks about HJ. Nash is a die-hard HJ fan.

hippy and i went out yesterday with my dad and uncle and we caught 21 sand trout, 2 reds, and 1 black drum. we would've caught more but we had to go in because of the lightning, and by the time it settled down, the bite had cooled. the nice thing about the sand trout is that most of them were spec-sized. they averaged close to 15 inches a piece.

amazing season for the rangers... this sucks right now, but looking at the overall picture, they were awesome. still, the best team won this series. the giants were incredible this post season.
