2. 3 of us went out last night and kept 24 trout and a red.  not bad at all :)
3. He was voted in by the players.  Quite an honor!
4. I've fished with both of the righties, and they make good company.
5.
OK   I have a couple of friends with lighted piers on south Pleasure Island.  Next week, two lefties, me and Three Balls, take on Hippy and TVC for all the marbles.   Losers change parties.  Who is in?
I'm absolutely in, but i'm going out of town next friday.
6. tvc and i caught 10 or 11 specks last night.  i caught 4 nice ones (20, 20, 20, 21) in a span of about 30 minutes.  i was tearing him up, but he eventually made it close, although his were smaller :)
7. i went a long way towards completing my collection with the purchase of a rock river elite operator II yesterday!
8. TVC and I went and limited out tonight... good times.  except for that 4-5 pound speck that broke me off at the dock.
9. mexico is the obvious favorite, but the US is scrappy enough to pull it out.  i expect mexico to win, but won't be shocked if the US does.
10. 3 of us fished an assortment of spots tonight, and kept 25 specks, 2 reds, 2 flounder, and a sand trout :)

12. 3 of us kept 18 trout, 2 reds, and 1 flounder last night.  not too bad :)
13. went fishing the neches a few weeks ago... tons of bass, but no keepers... i heard that 2-3 14 inchers often wins these things... is that true?
14. fished N. Levee Road today, didn't do any good, but saw a few people catching a few.  Fished Keith Lake tonight, and did very well.
15. ended up with 2 more reds and a speck after you left in about 2 more hours.  pretty slow.  glad you could make it out!
16. 11 trout and 1 flounder tonight.  thought tvc was gonna go, then he couldn't, then he could but i missed his text message.  we'll make it happen soon.
17.
i'll let my buddy know that i have someone willing to fill out the boat.  he called me at the last minute, so it was a spur of the moment thing.
18. two of us limited out on nice specks in an hour and 20 minutes this evening on keith lake :)
19. spent 3 hours at keith lake last night... brought home 14 specks, with 9 of them over 18 inches.  the water was dirty and it was windier than was supposed to be, or would've limited out pretty easily.

My first weapon set was PSE Nova set at 65lbs with 30 inch draw. I too own a competition target shooting bow. That’s awesome!
I think about half of the bowhunters active today used a PSE Nova (in one of its versions) as a first bow. It is reasonably cheap compared to high end bows and has a smooth draw. It is still a killer.
you're conversing with a spammer, tvc :).  at least you can tell this one actually speaks english as a first language.
Spamming for a PSE Nova? Usually spammers say something like, "Hey, I do that also. By the way try one of my pharmacy links listed below."
they've gotten smart.  they make a comment that sometimes makes sense to the thread, and then post links in their signature bars.

23.
Also some other places I use to go before I got my boat.  The ponds at the end of Bigner Road in Beaumont are free.  Mitchell Lakes in Lumberton but you must pay to fish and you can't keep the bass.
how's the fishing out there?
24. spent about 2 1/2 hours at keith lake last night.  it was very windy, but the water wasn't too muddy.  we caught 7 specks between 17-19 inches, and another at 22 inches, and 3 flounder between 16-18 inches.  every speck we caught was a keeper.  we also caught 3 more flounder around 12 inches and 2 rat reds.  all in all, a pretty good trip.  the weird thing was the flounder were hitting harder than the specks.
