If Silsbee and HJ both stay undefeated, i'm going to have to start voting for Co #1s until one of them lose.  they've both beaten the best teams in the area at this point.

in East Texas i saw a buck tailing a doe this past Friday, and Sunday, after a heavy rain the night before, my dad found a fresh scrape.  Our lease burned, though, so i don't really know if our rut has been messed up out there because the does were stressed.

had about 10 hogs come into my feeder right at dark.  i hit one, but it was tough to tell what i was hitting, and they ran 10 different directions, so i didn't even know where to start tracking.  no big loss, i suppose.

had a buddy send me a pic of 19 nice trout he caught yesterday... not sure where.

sweet!  i got a new #1 in my next dirty dozen.

my dad missed a 3-point this morning.  guess he was paying the price for watching that movie last night...

just walked into the deer lease cabin and my dad was watching "The Proposal".  I thought about killing him, but i would've felt too bad about it.

i shoulda hunted this morning.  i slept in this morning because it was raining and then i woke up and was peeing off the porch and a doe and a fawn walked by about 25 yards away.  i guess they're moving today :)

he was confused, nash.  he thought this was a jv thread.

our hogs have gone nocturnal for now... but we're getting plenty of pictures.  i shot a big nasty boar during bow season, and i have a feeling we'll get another shot or two at them before the end of the deer season.

he's currently leading the teams in ppg (29.3), rpg (5.3) and apg (7.7) after 3 games.

that's weird... we're getting our regular does (we see the same 10-15 does in assorted groups pretty regularly) along with pictures of 4 or 5 bucks that have moved into the area.  where do you hunt?
