Rangers bullpen goes 8.1 innings, 4 hits, 2 walks, 8 Ks, no ER.  that gives them 13 innings in the series, 16 Ks, 2 walks, 5 hits, 0 ER so far.  the bullpen and nelson cruz are carrying this team on their back so far!

what a win for the rangers!

CJ looked great until the rain delay.  gave up a couple of runs in the 5 minutes between the two delays.  the bullpen for the rangers was amazing.  8 strikeouts, 0 walks, and 1 bunt single given up in 4 2/3 innings.  fantastic win for the rangers to get off of verlander.  they should have the advantage in every other starting pitching matchup, so to get that one was huge.

caught a cooler full of specks and nice sandies in about 3 hours last weekend on Taylor's.  My buddy went out the next day and caught 3 fish.

I'll say this... nobody in either league is playing better baseball right now than the rangers... winning 14 of 16 heading into the playoffs does a lot for your confidence.  they have an incredibly solid pitching staff, and possibly the most balanced offense in the league.  that being said, the rays are either going to be sky high after their amazing comeback(s) or emotionally drained.  they may be able to ride their momentum of the last week, even though boston gave it to them more than they actually earned it.

i'm with you guys... i stayed glued to the TV.  of course, amidst all of this my rangers clinched the 2nd best record in the AL and got homefield for the first round :)

anything can happen in the playoffs.  i'd love to see my rangers make it back to the WS.  they have the team to do it... arguably the most solid offense in the league, a solid rotation with a legit ace in wilson, and an improved bullpen from last year.

there's still room on the rangers bandwagon.  i've been a fan of them since i was 4 years old, so it's nice to see them finally fielding really good teams. 

i just started gun hunting a couple of years ago. i'm gonna wait until i get bored with that before i start bow hunting.

i want to go hunting with rip!  i use a 25-06, if that helps...  ;D

Rowdy, bad-natured fans who spend their time screaming at individual players and criticizing those on the field and on the sideline.  Also, those who seek to put a damper on rowdy, good-natured fans (think spirited student section) who are having a good time in the stands in a positive way.

went out tonight, and it wasn't that great.  we probably caught close to 100 specks, but only 4 keepers, although one was a really nice 23 1/2 incher.
