  1. So THAT'S why JFF did so bad. He was too busy playing on his phone in the huddle... ;)
  2. [Hidden Content] He got liquored up and wrecked into some parked cars, then had his girlfriend take the fall for him. Remember when he was one of the most respected athletes ever?
  3. I'm not completely against welfare like some on here, but it's really hard to get behind helping someone who's brought that many children into the world without the means to take care of even one of them.
  4. Why is his QBR that's exactly one point higher than Rodgers' a big deal?  I'd say the extra touchdowns are more important that beating someone 113.2 to 112.2 in QBR. 4 more touchdowns, 4 less interceptions.  700 more yards passing. He also rushed for 269 yards, two TDs, and TWENTY first downs.  I'd say that's a pretty significant aspect of his game that he has a giant advantage over Romo in.  Look, I would've loved to have seen Romo win this thing, but your argument is silly.   You're saying that 700 extra passing yards, 4 extra TDs, and 4 less INTS (not to mention the rushing stats I brought up) are outweighed by Romo having a higher YPA and higher QBR, and higher completion percentage.  I'll buy that the completion percentage is a win for Romo (by 4.3%, a noteworthy amount), but QBR is irrelevant when you're separated by only a point (and 10 points higher than anyone else), and I'm not putting any stock at all into Romo averaging 0.09 more yards an attempt that Rodgers.
  5. I was doing really good at rehab until johnny threw a party. At rehab. -Josh Gordon
  6. Maybe he was trying to keep Lynch from grabbing his crotch in celebration after scoring a game winning TD?
  7. When Tom gets in his new truck do you think the check tire pressure light will be on? That would be pretty brilliant if Chevy under inflated the tires for him...
  8. Wilson hasn't completed a pass in 22 minutes of game time
  9. I agree with you there, PAMFAM
  10. I think 5 wins out of 8 and one win in the tourney gets them in. That would be 21-9. Should be good enough. Plus the OT game vs Kentucky will be looked at like a win by the committee IMO
  11. One of the arguments opponents have always had about marijuana is that it leads to harder drug use. I've always kind of attributed that to its illegality, and the fact that you have to buy it from guys who are selling harder stuff as well. I'd be interested to see what studies show on use of harder drugs in Colorado now that marijuana has been legal there for a little while.
  12. MVP is not an abbreviation for "best player." With JJ Watt, the texans missed the playoffs. Without him, the same result, with a couple of less wins. Without Murray, i believe the cowboys can put in dunbar and still win 10-11 games and probably make the playoffs. With Rodgers, the packers made the NFC championship game. Without him, they lose several more games and miss the playoffs. Hence, Rodgers was more valuable, and consequently, so is the qb position. As great as JJ is, and I would argue he's as dominant at his position as any player has EVER been at any position, the position he plays doesn't allow him to impact the game the way skills position offensive players do. It's just the nature of the game.
  13. Rodgers had more touchdowns and yards than romo, and 5 less interceptions. Romo had a higher completion percentage. I would have to give him the edge.
  14. I hoped romo would get more consideration. But what Rodgers did this year was pretty phenomenal. 38 TDs to 5 INTs is hard to argue.
  15. Wherever TVC and I decide to go when I do a ridealong with him tonight. I don't care a whole lot about this Super Bowl.
  16. There's no way I could vote for Palin. Maybe if Biden somehow won a nomination. That's about the only scenario I can imagine it happening.
  17. I can think of a dozen reasons why someone might chase your son, thug or not.
  18. I heard a scientist say that deflating the balls by 2 lbs would allow a qb to depress the ball about a dime's-width more than usual. I'm not sure how accurate that statement was, just telling what I heard.
  19. a bunch of ignorant bigots, with an elected official leading the way.
  20. Yates officials are trying to find a way to use school numbers post-walkout to drop back down and win another couple fake basketball championships...
  21. Glad to see this finally happening.
  22. hahaha. that's funny.
  23. they're crazy if they trade him. he played a few games his first year on a pretty weak team, but look at his numbers the last two years (neither a full year, but both seasons had plenty of games to show what he could do): 2013 and 2014: Overall record: 14-4 Pass Touchdowns: 40 Interceptions: 12 Rushing Yards- 331 Rushing Touchdowns- 3 There's what, about 5 teams in the league that could look at those numbers and feel like whatever they have is a better option?
