  1. Gotta feel bad for Charles, but it won me my pickem and my streak for the cash.
  2. What a performance by the rangers!
  3. These rangers are looking like the teams that made it to the World Series a couple of years back. Even better, next year we could be really good with most of the offense back, plus darvish, Hamels, and holland leading the pitching staff with several good young arms around to fight for filling out the rotation.
  4. I remember looking at the Astros stats earlier in year when they had their huge lead in the standings, and just about everyone except for Altuve was batting .230 or lower. I didn't think they could sustain their lead hitting like that, and it's finally coming back to bite them. That being said, they're still very much in this race, and they're ahead of schedule. It was supposed to be another year or two before they were going to be in pennant races. Astros fans have a lot to look forward to over the next several years with the offensive core and pitching staff that they've put together.
  5. Rangers making keuchel look like he came into the game with the worst ERA in the AL rather than the best.
  6. Fairfield was a good hunt for us, with my dad and I each taking a nice doe, and me passing on a spike because it was broken off and me not being sure if I could take it. Balcones kinda sucked, but we got unlucky and drew a bad area, and were also the third group of hunters in. We lucked out double on chaparral this year, because not only is it probably the best buck hunt offered, we're in the first group of gun hunters, so there will be more deer, and they'll be less cautious due to a lack of pressure.
  7. Anyway, I brought this up because I've talked to some pretty serious hunters who didn't know about these hunts. We spend about $100 a year and enter for about 15 hunts. You get to hunt areas that are normally not hunted to help control the animal population. You can sign up for whitetail, mulies, pigs, turkeys, javelina, antelope, exotics, alligators, etc. it's a cool way to get to hunt some land that we don't see around here, and if you get really lucky and drawn for the right hunt, a chance to hunt for the buck of a lifetime. If you've been, share your experiences.
  8. Do any of y'all sign up for the texas parks and wildlife draw hunts? After not getting drawn for four years, my dad and I have been drawn 4 times in 2 years. We got a spring turkey hunt at Matador WMA last April, a doe/spike/pig hunt at Fairfield state park last December, a doe/spike/pig/buck hunt at Balcones WMA last December, and then we just lucked out big time and got drawn for a 2 buck hunt at Chaparral WMA this December. They kill a lot of bucks out there, with some big ones over 150 inches taken nearly every year.
  9. Keep dinking and dunking with our TEs and RBs in the passing game. If they start to key on that, Terrence Williams is a legit Dez-light who's capable of burning people on the deep ball.
  10. I can't give the D enough credit. NY scored a defensive touchdown, scored on a 1-yard drive, and kicked a fg on a 3 and out after a turnover. The Dallas D essentially allowed 9 points. The boys are going to be very tough to beat if they keep that up.
  11. He's been incredibly clutch for his whole career, and his numbers bear that out. There were a few seasons there where he was put in situations like tonight almost weekly, so of course he lost some nailbiters. but what a comeback tonight! two TD drives in the last 8 minutes, eating less than 4 minutes of clock to do it.
  12. sorry BS, but there's always next week for you to maybe get a chance to hate.
  13. Rooooooomoooooooooo!
  14. Hey, we have a shot
  15. Well, never mind
  16. If Dallas can get a stop here they're going to have about 1:50 to score a TD and win it
  17. Weird game. Lots of tough breaks against Dallas. It's not often a team is better on both sides of the ball, but loses. Some of the stupid stuff that the old Dallas used to do is occurring as well. Not a great start to the season for the boys. Hopefully they can get it together. They have a ton of talent this season.
  18. I rewound it and slowed it down to make sure I'm not crazy. It was there. He had an arm on each side of him pulling him back before he made his jump. Maybe soft, but not the type of complete nothing call that the original replays made it look like.
  19. He wrapped him up before the jump. All the replays showed it after that happened.
  20. Dallas completely dominated, then imploded, but is only down a TD. I haven't seen anything that makes me believe that they can't come back and win this one
  21. Dallas should be up AT LEAST 17-3.
  22. Wow. Cowboys have completely dominated and may go in down 17--6 at the half
