If they could hit a 3 they’d be winning. Hell of an effort against what should be about the #10 team in 6A, though.

They’re a very good team. Looking at their schedule, they’ve played some tough competition, and have some really good wins, including over McKinney. Only losses are to Duncanville, Harker Heights, Mansfield Summit, and Richardson. Those four teams have a combined record of 126-14. Losses to numbers 1,2, and 20 in 6A, and #6 in 5A.

I’ll say this after watching the second game… if BU comes out flat and is down going into the 4th quarter, timberview knows how to finish a game. They won’t make the same mistakes Kimball did.

And took bad shots, too. It wasn’t like they took quick shots but they were good looks. They played like THEY were the team down 9 in the 4th.

Their best player tonight, and it wasn’t close. They’re going home without him out there tonight.

I just watched that game from start to finish, and I have no idea how BU managed to win it. Came back from the dead over and over again. Actually, I guess I do know how. If Kimball shot 50% from the line I’ll be shocked. What a late comeback for United!

Yates 4-17 from the floor, and 0-8 from deep. Arceneaux with about 5 turnovers, most of which led to layups or dunks. Hard to win these types of games with your two best players struggling. They have to step up now, or this one is over.

BU missed a chance to tie it, and gave up 3 fast breaks in the final 30 seconds of the quarter. Kimball up 23-15 after 1. BU got back in it and then started playing out of control. Kimball with 5 dunks in the first quarter, Morris with at least 4 of them.

I've watched probably 80% of their games the last 4 years. Jones has been really good for most of them when he's on the court. Ramey is hit or miss, and Febres is only a role player, especially once he blew up his knee last year. I'm not a huge fan of Carr. this was a bad loss for them today. The terrible thing today is that the horns were up 18 at the half and then outscored by 23 in the 2nd. That's awful. Get the win and solidify probably a 5 or 6 seed. Wouldn't be surprised if they drop to an 8 or 9 now.

just saw this. there's plenty of room for improvement, and you wouldn't think it would be that hard to get good candidates.

Kids are dumb, but this is beyond that.
