HF has had a heck of a jump this year. 18-18 last year, should be 24-9 this time tomorrow. That win against HJ early in district was big. The hawks are down, but are still one of the 20 best teams in 4A. They'll lose some very important seniors, but the last I saw HF JV was 19-2 on the season, so there should be some quality players moving up next year. we have a local AAU program that is producing some quality, quality players at every grade level, so the pipeline of talent in HF is improving a lot.

I had no idea this guy had been our offensive coordinator the last two years, and with the organization for three. That's how impactful he's been.

In the last 4 years at Cypress Woods he went 26-17 with one co-district championship, one year missing the playoffs, and 0-3 in the playoffs. Had a pretty good stretch at CCVM, but that's a notoriously bad region, and the guy who replaced him has done just as well there. Before that at CC Ray he won 1 playoff game in 5 years. I'm having a hard time seeing this as an upgrade for BH, and that has nothing to do with me "hating" on them.

All nurses got the same degree and had to complete the same trainings. Are all nurses equal? Are there good nurses and okay nurses? Are there bad nurses? Are some nurses smarter and better at their job than others? These same questions apply to doctors.

No. Which is why I've repeatedly stated that I'll take the best surgeon, regardless of race. But DEI initiatives that placed minority status over ability and qualifications led to less qualified doctors, surgeons, pilots, etc., not to mention less capable college students who will later enter specialized fields in the workforce. I'm not sure how you haven't gleaned this from my posts, but I'm all for the most deserving and capable students and workers advancing. I have no issue with a black female brain surgeon working on my brain, but I want it to be because she's the best brain surgeon available. I DO NOT want a black, female brain surgeon working on me who only made it into med school over more intelligent, capable students because she was a black female, and then was hired by a hospital over more qualified surgeons to fulfill yet another DEI initiative.

You left out the word “less” in front of qualified minorities. And you still haven’t answered my question. Would you rather have a minority doctor work on your son’s brain than a more qualified doctor?

I'd pick Kountze to win this year. That said, I haven't picked well.

Hearing through the grapevine that BH has in fact hired @Reagan to be their next coach. He's signed a 7-year contract, but will only accept 190K a year until he wins his first championship. Super gets to name the starting lineup for pre-district games only, plus one quarter per game in district.
