I thought OJ being found “not guilty” was more a reflection of his wealth (or “privilege” as we call it today) and being able to afford a fantastic legal defense. 
 
Too bad he was broke by the time he got in trouble again. 
 
True story.... the first time I ever heard “the n-word” was when that poodle-headed DA was talking to the cop.  I was like “n-word? I know the a-word, a couple of b-words, the c-word that women HATE.... but the n-word? I’m confused.”
I remember being amused by them trying to act like it was a big deal. I mean, just say it... everybody says it. This was long before anybody cared about “er” and “a” pronunciations. 
 
That’s how I know we’ve made a lot of progress. Minds like mine have been changed for the better. That’s not a word that I’ll utter anymore. 
 

Just keep going... you just believe assume  that blacks are monolithic Blacks wordships criminal’s Whites don’t?(Want a list) Whites don’t glorify criminal acts and songs(want a list) Blacks want this cop hung. ( sane blacks in Germany France etc.)

You don’t find it off one bit that you named  OJ and Cochran The blacks in that trial and not the victims or defense. Most people don’t know a single detail about that case only that OJ was charged with killing a White woman. It was never about the victim. And both sides participated in that.
 The ignorance you speak about BLACKS shows and yes it is still everything I expected it to be.

Some people can watch a video where a very alive person can be on the ground with a knee to his neck for seven minutes. In that same video everybody around except The THUGs in blue can see that life is slipping away from Mr. Floyd . Mr Floyd is pleading begging for his life then goes motionless knee still till his neck . It’s some that can watch that and still refuse to believe the truth. Because The truth is just to uncomfortable. It’s law enforcement on here that can call it what it is . It’s police officers police chiefs taking a knee marching with protesters. That can call it what it is. But it’s people on this board looking for anything and I mean anything to not have to deal with the truth.  Same with last case. And more evidence coming out that case prove setx logic wrong again. Another black man slain by racists. Both cases only moving forward because of video and public outcry. It’s the same America 

The black crime rate is high for many reasons. Still have nothing to do with this incident. I can be upset about blacks killing blacks. I can also be upset with flat out racism that plague the black communities . I don’t have to choose one. A white man can be upset about immigration laws and the crimes in his communities. Also.

Where is you going with this? I wouldn’t care if the shooters were  white black purple. You have no understanding of my viewpoints. I’m educated and have come  to my own conclusions about race in America. I think every race in this country has its fraction of people who make It hard on the others. But none of this has anything to do with that. If all persons in video was same color. I’ll still be interested in finding out why no arrests was made until after video was made public. And who shall be held accountable.
 
Everything isn’t about race but I’m not going to act like this country doesn’t have a race problem I’m only 28 and I’ve done witness the worst from both sides almost daily. I have a friend who recently just got disowned by her parents simply because she engaged to a different shade of skin. (It’s not just cnn and democrats it’s real life too).

I thinks it’s best to accept the facts on this case. What someone did 3 years ago has absolutely nothing to do with anything. From the beginning some became too eager to prove the victim was somehow not the victim. It just makes me wonder why are some trying so desperately to find fault in the victim. if the jogger was white the narrative would have been . Innocent teen on jog attack by vicious armed thugs.  And nobody would be on here trying to figure out what the white kid did wrong. 

You can kill A black man on video and still Have the majority of Non blacks in this country take your side. He might of had a knife he might of not just been jogging he might was going to somehow put in danger the 3 armed men chasing him. You can’t make this up only in America. As a black man when i speak on race I’m the racist. If this was 3 blacks guys who shot a white teen jogging. We wouldn’t be talking bout but white on white crime is the biggest issue. This thread would be full with way different type of replies . Hell quick history lesson will tell you exactly what would have happened if the tables where turnt. It get to the point where people would rather convince themself that 3 grown men chasing then gunning down a man are somehow the victims. I know it feeds into the narrative nobody wants to believe. I wonder why so late on the charges i wonder how many people in position swron to protect and serve seen this video and did nothing. But if I say anything about this case have anything to do with the color of the one and only victim. I’m racist .

Most of my personal comments many of you know already, but we do have new posters, so I’ll repeat them.
I graduated in the early 60’s from high school.  Served in the Army from 65 to 67.  Right in the middle of the new drug culture.  I’ve never used mj.  Been with people who did, but I was vehemently against it, and stayed that way until about 68 years old.  I finally realized that outlawing it was useless.  Like prohibition, it’s not working, no matter how much money we throw at it.  I still don’t use it because it’s against the law in Texas.  I wonder why Texas doesn’t legalize it, and take the money out of the hands of the Cartels?  Texas prides itself on personal independence.  Less Govt.  So why not legalize it?  Perhaps for the same reason our Fed Govt. doesn’t remove it as a Sch 1 narcotic.  As this article shows, many seniors are getting off their expensive medicines and using mj in lieu of them, for pain, depression, anxiety, etc.  So, follow the money.  Big Pharmaceutical Giants are starting to lose money.  Since so many in Congress are supported by these giants of industry, they fail to do the right thing.  The Opiod Crisis is reportedly taking so many lives now.  Could legalization of mj lower opiod use, as I’ve been speculating?   According to this article, opiod use has been reduced 14% in states that have legalized mj.  Anyway, I’m one staunch conservative that has at least one liberal view.  Hope you take the time to read this with an open mind.

Just saw that Martell entered the transfer portal after Fields announced his move to Ohio State. Admittedly, after watching QB1 on Netflix, I'm not a fan of Martell's. He seems like an entitled little brat that has never been told no, kind of like a Manziel. 

Let’s get real, this is American politics as it is. Trump controlled every branch of government and while he has the economy on the up and up he has failed on his two biggest campaign promises repeal OC and having Mexico pay for the wall. Will the democrats play fair no . Trump has already championed this as his shutdown. The dems sadly enough will relish this they will force trump to surrender and call it a win or keep this going as long as possible. Every campaign add will start with trump telling chuck. Yes I’ll will own this shutdown. 
Trump can end this shutdown the dems could end this shutdown both won’t because both could care less  about the People it’s all about 2020 from here on out. 
Thats the sad fact.
Should   trump take less yes . 
Should dems throw in daca or something they could win and get this done yes.
The saddest thing is even if they did make a deal dems and Republicans voters alike will cry wolf.

2) his own lawyer has been sent to voice mail numerous times.  

The last time I checked, the goal was to win a State Championship. The Coaches job is to put kids in position for long term success and noT be short sighted. You don't show your whole offense in Non-District for a reason. You don't show all of your Blitz packages early in the year for a reason. You don't run trick plays to win games during the preseason. Losing a game that better prepares you for success in the playoffs is a NO BRAINIER. 

If I was the coach no I wouldn't try to lose  but I will see what I have next year and play alot of jv players.

Fed up with both sides. I will continue to live my life as I have. Nothing has changed for me personally since not voting. So until I see someone who I really can get behind, I will continue to pass.
I know that means I have no right to complain about how things are, and that is fine by me. You won't hear a peep from me.

I passed on the presidential election, going to do the same on this one.
