I like to think I cook all the above pretty dang well too. Of all of them, the brisket is the biggest challenge, but I love the process. Lots of time to drink a “couple” beers.
Man, I left off pinto beans, but it’s one of mine too! Do you put sausage or ground meat or anything else in your beans?
That’s a good list! I love smoked ribs. They’re finicky. But I love to cook / eat them.
Yep. Definitely not a hoax. I pray for them and their families. Condolences to all.
Here are some important questions though:
How did they get it? Did they wear masks? Limit their exposure?
How old and/or frail were they? What underlying conditions did they possess?
Did any of them receive the malaria drug hydroxychloroquine, zinc and z pack before or after exposure?
Could they or doctors done anything differently to allow them to survive this sickness?
So, what’s your signature dish or dishes? What do you cook that exemplifies your best or most popular dish with family & friends?
Mine:
1. Gumbo
2. Roast, rice & Gravy
3. Deep Fried Pork Tenderloin
4. Cornbread Dressing and giblet gravy
5. Smoked ribs
6. Smoked whole hog
7. Fried fish
8. Blackened Redfish w/ lemon butter cream sauce
9. Homemade salsa
10. Crawfish pistolettes
Just a few, but ALL good! Whatcha got?
Yep. My wife had to shut it down twice. It was AWESOME! Lol. She had to stay home and cook dinner for two weeks straight. I wonder who forces the quarantining for 14 days? Some places only say 10 days.
I couldn’t watch it. Real? Not real? I skipped over sections. Watched a couple minutes here and there. Seems like a bunch of contrived crap. I could be wrong - I didn’t really give it a chance. It’s as long as “Saving Private Ryan” but nowhere near as entertaining.
