The kid was ejected from the game. After that (to me), heâs on his own. He is no longer a part of the equation. I agree, the foul was very egregious. No excuses, but âthe TEAMâ didnât do anything bad. The player had already been disqualified. Look into it after the dust settles and 86 the coach if he was grossly negligent by letting the kid play in the first place. Donât let the kid play any more sports. Iâm ok with that too. But donât punish the ones who were playing by the rules. And as far as anyone learning a lesson from this, thatâs a joke. Itâs a group punishment for a single kidâs actions that occurred AFTER he was disqualified from the âfield of playâ. I know I wonât change your mind, youâre hard headed like me. Iâm glad the ref is ok, and I hope that kid can get some help with his very serious behavioral problem. As far as the rest of the kids, especially the seniors who may never get to play again, they straight up got screwed.
