While L-CM was the better team that night, neither team is very good.

Several factors, but the biggest one is how the different teams matchup. Team health for each game too. WOS too fast for Silsbee is number one in the matchup category. WOS played Nederland in the non-district part earlier in the season too. Lots of changes and improvement week to week.

Yeah, almost exactly the same. Prior to this year, Lumberton had 5 winning seasons out of 6. The last 2 were 5-0 which I think means they even beat everyone in the district (including L-CM) if my math is right. So yeah, just like L-CM.
