Honest question: What were participation numbers like when Jeff Mathews was the head coach?

While I’m not totally against it, it’s not that appealing to me. Here are a few reasons: 1. I will not receive any immediate benefit, as I am a salaried employee. Lower the overall FWT on all taxable payroll, and let everyone reap the benefit of the tax break. 2. I would assume that it would just be only premium portion of overtime hours worked. It would still be a savings of FWT, but not nearly what people are thinking. 3. Anytime tax revenue is forfeited, it has to be made up somewhere else. I wonder where the lost revenue will come from? He may have a good answer for that question, but for now, it is an unknown.

Coach Drake was a special man. He coached for French high school when they won the state championship in 1984. Like many coaches, he coached at many different schools. Silsbee, Lumberton, French, Central were a few schools where he coached. He will be greatly missed. He was recently recognized for his accomplishments and character being named to the Silsbee High School Wall of Honor. He was buried today in his hometown of Silsbee, Texas. I was lucky to know him. Until they can't afford it. Do you think the same will happen with Kamala's proposed increase in corporate taxes by 7%? She's proposing to increase a multitude of taxes by $5 trillion dollars including corporate income tax, stock buybacks by 3% and her proposed plan also requires big companies (like your Walmart example) to pay taxes worth at least 15 percent of the income they report to investors. So are you saying she will in essence be raising taxes on the middle class since "You think Wal Mart will eat that 20%?"

Additionally, since the employee mandate was done away with but the employer mandate was left in place (both should be abolished), only the sickest are the ones who generally get on the company health insurance which drives up the cost for all of us. Young healthy people simply don't get insured. I'm considering dropping my health coverage altogether and becoming a "cash pay" patient. Unless something tragic happens, I'll save close to $9,000 per year.
