  1. Or even published a detailed plan about ANYTHING! That to me is concerning.
  2. Yeah, what if they call them names or make fun of them?… C’mon man.
  3. The on the field disrespect was wrong. I agree. I was speaking about the social media post. But there is plenty of disrespect during football game. I don’t know if you ever played or not, but in the trenches everybody that ever faced me knew about my relationship with their mom. Lol. I can’t remember how many times I got punched in the jewels at the bottom of a heap during a gang tackle. But not just the players. You ever hear parents berate the refs? You ever hear fans calling out their own coaches? Yet we are ready to make a kid miss a game and get suspended for the same poor behavior. Run him til his nose bleeds. But don’t cut your nose off to spite your face either.
  4. I understand where you’re coming from, but for me it wasn’t a big deal. It’s no worse than all the BS we’ve let our kids (and ourselves, for that matter) be subjected to with social media. The kid posted it on his own time. Even though it’s classless and a picture into the lack of discipline in the young man’s life, you can choose to watch or not watch a post. The kids who are butt hurt from the opposing team don’t have to watch. That’s like the longhorn fans who think it should be outlawed for the “horns down” symbol to be used during a game against them. Sheer stupidity. Everybody grow up. Get tough. Get over your feelings.
  5. All I can find when I look up LCM football on TikTok is people talking about an 11-3 season from years ago and a state championship being next.
  6. Hell, I freakin love it!
  7. I’ll just leave it put down then.
  8. If you explain what that even means, I'm sure I can give you a witty answer.
  9. "Flame War"? How very Gen Z of you. No cap. Low key that really slaps - really hits different. Skrrrt. 😎
  10. Dude, I wish it weren't so, but my Raiders ARE an easy out. I still cheer for them every game. Be happy when they win and sad when they lose. But I have no rose-colored glasses on. Unlike our little buddy Left_Back_Two_Times or whatever his names is. He could use a dose of reality! Lmao.
  11. Sir/Ma'am, everyone West of the Neches and East of Cow Bayou is laughing...
  12. At this point, I have to apologize. I thought you were being serious. Now, I realize you're just being sarcastic...right?
  13. So your argument is they don't do "dumb sh*t in Bridge City"? Got it.
  14. 'Til then...opt up for an easier ride. Just stating a fact.
  15. That's a good idea. Nowhere to opt up to do that... Damn the luck. Plus I'm not delusional. Lumberton ain't good. Own it without excuses and the world becomes an easier place to live.
  16. Spot on. Just my opinion.
  17. Puff Daddy would disagree. Lol.
  18. Yep, I remember. I was under a different name then. I announced the games back then at Raider Stadium, Lol.
  19. Agreed. I was remembering back when we played schools like Wheatley in the first round.
  20. If they win the first seed they could win a playoff game, but that's as far as it goes.
  21. Difference is, they (L-Train) did it in the district they were assigned, and it wasn't "way back when" either... Just sayin. And it was more than a single "decent" season. The Cards started their Build Back Better campaign after "opting up" then playing down and beating the likes of Buna & Kirbyville and before district even started. Maybe they should trounce the 4A-D1 district (which is possible) and eventually go back "down" to prove a point and be successful there too. Now THAT would be interesting...
  22. 1. 100% agree - and anyone who says the criticism comes from anywhere else ("I'd say it's from pent up jealousy."), and thinking they possibly could win the district they opted out of (for obvious reasons) is silly. Just say, "We ran from the district we were in because it was too hard. It paid off!" That would be fair enough. And though embarrassing to finally admit that, I think it would cut down on the actual criticism of the BC program. I'm happy for them. I hope they do great in their newfound home. I'm just not delusional. 2. It should be gone from there too. Idk why we can't get that curtailed. There's about 3 or 4 that need a vacation.
