The #8 state ranked, #1 HoopInsider/SETX Silsbee Tigers will travel up to Spurger to take on the #5 HoopInsider/SETX Pirates in the last non district game for both of these teams. Silsbee comes in with a 16-2 record while Spurger sports a 14-3 mark. Two very good teams in their respective classifications. This is the first time that Silsbee and Spurger has ever played a varsity game against each other in any sport. Should be interesting as both teams will be missing key starters for this game. You can "color it" anyway you want, if a team is still pressing after being up by 100-12 at half, they are intentionally running up the score and showing a lack of respect and class. When I say "they", I am meaning the Yates coach in particular.
