When he reached the endzone, players were sprawled all over the place. Looked like a bomb went off! Silsbee was scraambling around trying to find players just to send out for the extra point attempt. Kicker, down (he laid the block that freed Turk on the return), Turk was gassed so he couldn't run the wildcat for the two point conversion, among others who were on the sidelines like you said, with their legs up in the air. The coaches had to send Spearman out to play QB in the wildcat, resulting in a failed two point attempt. It was mass kaos!! Tim and I were laughing up in the broadcast booth! ;D

A tweet from today's practice (Aug. 25) from BE sports writer Christopher Dabe: cmdabe Christopher Dabe QB Jeremy Johnson seems to have a good grasp of the Lamar offense, getting many plays called in from sideline hand signals.

Jeremy is the only 1st team quarterback in pads today for practice. Bevil is not practicing, Pruitt only in shorts and helmet. Will benefit Jeremy getting all the reps but those other two must get healthy.
