We are experiencing some server issues with the database and it's backup system. This last situation cost us 10 days of data. We have made some changes that should keep us from losing that much data again, but there are no guarantees. Our owner, Jordan Wilson, is about to send out a mass email to all of our members to apologize for these problems and inconveniences, to explain what is going on, and what our plains are for solving these issues which could include moving to another server and using a different type of software. We apologize to everyone and ask that you be patient with us as we work to solve these issues before football season begins.

Lumberton's girls head basketball coaching position is open. Was told a local head coach was offered and accepted but the school district that the coach works for now would not let the coach out of the coach's contract.

Joe Kirby, head baseball coach at Kountze, will be taking the head baseball position at Deweyville starting this school year. Bryan Webb, who coached Deweyville this past season, will be Coach Kirby's assistant so to allow him to concentrate more on football at Deweyville. Congrats Coach Kirby on your new job and good luck!!

To answer the question of this topic, quite simply, NO.

[Hidden Content] According to this expert's opinion, Silsbee's Hudson has best chance of being a big time national recruit out of his bunch. Hudson will be a soph. this fall and will start on varsity at left tackle.

I just listened to it and yes Grant and Terry has Trinity finishing 3rd in 10-2A DI. ::) That obviously was a mistake because they were talking about Kountze just a minute prior to the prediction.

I was told by the powers at Jasper and Silsbee that this rivalry will start back up next season. Fran is correct, former Jasper Head Coach Morgan was the one who decided not to continue playing Silsbee. Lot's of Jasper folks were very upset (along with many Silsbee folks). The Jasper supt. actually called to apologize and tried to work things out but the schedules were already set. Coach Barbay will get Silsbee back on Jasper's schedule.
