What happened to the talk of Coach Thompson never running the score up on opponents? Less than a minute left in game, up 44-2 and you are still passing? 5 wide? With 1st team? Am I missing something?

I have seen many a Silsbee game and have listened to many a Silsbee game. This has to be the most times a Silsbee team has gone for it on 4th down in one game. 0-5 tonight

Wasn't that the case 5 weeks ago?

I actually like the fact that Coach Smith went for it on those three 4th and goals instead of kicking field goals. But, in hindsight, the score could be 14-9. Maybe a different play call on one or two of those plays could have made a difference but credit to that Chain Gang defense.
