I only ask because I have never seen you do it here on this site. I have only seen you call out the "white" folks and I have been here long enough to know there have been times when you could have done the opposite. Don't get me wrong, I despise racism, white or black or whatever color. Was raised that way. My dad, may he rest in peace, is full blood Mexican. Not trying to single you out as a racist but it just seems you select your calling out. BTW, I too think those words are "code" words for some select people. Just not an entire race of people.

I predict Silsbee to be 2-2 after week 4.

Noticed that as well. 5 pollsters had Silsbee above Newton but the one poll that left Silsbee completely off kept them from being #3 and Newton #4. All 9 of the other pollsters had Silsbee top 4.

That's never going to happen. I always thought it should have been named after Jerry Levias or Alex Durley or Willie Ray Smith or a combination of all three. I know West Brook's Stadium is named after Durley and we have an award named after Smith but still think one if not all should have name on that stadium.

Another change to this scrimmage. It is now moved to Provost-Umphrey Stadium at Lamar University, Friday at 4pm.

Not sure if any National ranked teams are on schedule, but Silsbee did up their schedule from last year. Dallas ISD, SA ISD and Fort Bend ISD tourneys on schedule. Plus several other 6A schools.
