Would require strict regulation ....but it could work.
No it would not. It might could work at 5A level and I strongly say "might". No way it could work at 1A, 2A, and 3A levels. If you do it for one, you have to do it for all.
What are your thoughts on the salaries of coaches in our region? Do you think they're over-paid or under-paid? Some coaches make double a teacher's salary. The pressure to win seems pretty intense. Could we someday see 200, 300, 500K salaries for top programs? Are some already getting this through an incentive program? Also, what about the players? The same issue exists in high school as with college, there's some serious money being made on Friday nights thanks to the talent that's on the field. At least college athletes get a paid education. Public high schools are paid for by the tax payers. Should the kids get some education funds set aside for use at the next level?
NO!!!!!!!!!!!

New Lumberton Boys Basketball Coach

I thought Coach Wueller deserved another year based on what he has done this year and with sub levels. But when you hire a new AD (Haynes) sometimes they will hire their "buddies" in other coaching positions. ;) -
Regularly huh. Twice in last 3 weeks and only 3 times this whole school year. Wouldn't call that regular. ::) Glitches happen. We are on a bigger server. Everything will be fine. No need to worry.
Who does the tigers have coming back for next year and do they have a chance to get back to Austin.
Silsbee has all 3 of their starting pitching coming back (Powell, Hartman and Griffin). Tigers will return their starting 2nd baseman (Gore) 1st base (Griffin) catcher (Leblanc) and right fielder (Nesbit). Also Kris Elers will return who started a few games. Of the returnees, Silsbee will have the district MVP (Gore) Pitcher of Year (Powell) 1st team first baseman(Griffin) 2nd team catcher (Leblanc) 2nd team DH (Hartman) Tigers lose starters Garcia (SS), Thibideaux (3B), Valencia (LF), Shellhammer (CF). I see Hartman playing 3rd when not pitching, Gore moving to SS with Armstrong playing 2B. Nesbit and Elers will play two of the outfield positions. That really just leaves filling one outfield spot and 3B when Hartman pitches (possibly Powell could play that position). Kirkendoll (JV player) probably gets one of those starting positions. Silsbee will make another deep run in playoffs.
