I said Silsbee would win, you say HJ will win. I never spoke of by how much Silsbee would win, just that they would win. Others have thrown out scores but those do not matter to me. You were the one running your mouth about HJ winning, now you want points. What is it? HJ going to win, or keep it close? You seem to be crawfishing now.

Confirmed that Evadale and Deweyville will be doing Midnight Madness.

UIL says a team can don the pads starting on Aug. 9 (those who did not have spring practice). So teams can actually put on the pads at 12:01am tomorrow night. What teams will be participating in Midnight Madness? In the past, Evadale, Deweyville and Vidor have been participating. Will the same teams or any other teams be practicing at midnight tomorrow night?

No word on if Center AD Goodwin signed off on Shaw or not but I am pretty certain he did. If that is the case (and I believe that to be) Shaw will have to sit out 15 days before he can suit up for the Mustangs. That would have him missing at least the first 2-3 games and maybe even the 4th game. If Goodwin did not sign off on Shaw (highly unlikely since Goodwin is a former WO-S coach, probably doesn't want to hinder Shaw's high school career and the transfer had nothing to do with athletics) then Shaw would have to play JV ball this year and play varsity next season since he is just a junior.
