I actually got the feeling that some local folks were looking forward to Yates beating Silsbee and being able to come on here and spout off. Some certain posters have gone awol here in last couple of days. Also, I am keeping a close eye on some certain media folk.

Hughes had 17 at the half, 25 at the end of 3rd, but scored only 4 points in the 4th.

All games but the 6A state championship will be streamed live at NHFS website for a subscription fee. 6A state title game will be in Fox Sports Southwest.

Also, Silsbee's big 3 in Adams, Bush and McCain combined to average 75 points a game for the 2 games. Bush scored 64, McCain 52 and Adams 34. Throw in Barnes 25 points and those four scored 175 of Silsbee's 195 points this weekend.

By far the best 2 game free throw shooting this Tiger team has had all season. Combined 2 games of 47 of 57, 83%. That's about as good a FT shooting that I have seen from Silsbee in many many years. Won both games IMO.

Silsbee was 20 of 24 from ft line. Best of the season and best that I can remember. Credit has to go to the broadcaster. Lol
