Never been an issue with me getting enough sponsors in a week to do a state tourney game. If little ole me can do it, I would think a radio station could swing it. In fact, SETXsports will be broadcasting the PN-G state games with just a week notice. So it can be done.

Kalon just won the Adidas National Boys Dream 100 in Boston with a time of 10.34. Beat national leader from Florida who wan 10.41. Where are those two from Orange who kept saying Kalon wasn't all that fast? Said he would only run 10.6 at best.

I agree. And to follow up on my previous "speculation" post, I admit I was wrong about who was fighting who. I was going only off of Gary Stelly's broadcast and I assumed when he stated a fight had broken out, I thought he was speaking about the teams fighting one another. Looking at this video, that was not the case. My apologies

What happened at Robinson/WO-S game?

I was only going by Gary's call of the game. He stated the celebration of China Spring kind of spilled over into some BC player's. Kids started shoving each other. He did state that Coach Landry was arguing with an ump and that AD Dubois was on the field as well trying to break up the mess. Never did he say that China Spring started a fight with BC. That was what I was commenting on after kicker posted stating that CS started a fight.

Sometimes we have no choice where we can put those mics. Have had that issue many times.

The person I heard over the crowd mic sounded like a BC fan. He was very upset with the result and the no strike call the pitch before the game winning hit. Not being there and not having the opportunity yet to speak with Gary, I am speculating at best.

Not what I heard. China Spring ran out to celebrate and the celebration ran into some BC players. Tempers flared then.

I've known Dennis for many years. Was a teacher at Silsbee for a while. Spoke with him on many occasions about his son, sports and this site. He used to be a member on this site. Just never seemed to be the type to do something like this. Prayers to the family.
