What an embarrassment to all Americans! It is like watching Somalia or Iraq civil war only it is happening in our own country. And why are we in the street stealing bottles of liquor and candy bars? Because 1 person was shot while attacking another person. Not because the government rolled over 50 college students with tanks, or rounded up people on the middle of the night and then mass executed them and dumped them in a pit. Nope a thug was shot by a police officer, after robbing a store and pushing down the little clerk who tried to stop him, then charging and attacking the police officer when he confronted him for jay walking, robbery, or something else. So for this we burn down businesses, destroy people's lives, and look like complete fools to the entire world. Then we try to tell other countries don't kill and eat a whale, because you should be civilized like us! The leaders of the black community that have stirred this up or even didn't try to stop it should be embarrased. Everyone wants to be equal and have equal rights, then starting acting like you are not from a third world country and are part of a civilized society and maybe people will see you as equal.

Mikaela Stegall, an outfielder for LCM and Orange Crush Gold has been selected to the Under Armour National Softball team. Mikaela is a Senior this year at LCM and has committed to continue her softball career at UT Tyler next year.

Can't be the best catch ever when there was offensive interference. I guess no one in the world saw the WR throw Carr on the ground.

On that sick TD catch by Backham why was there defensive pass interference when Backham clearly threw down the defender? On all the replays that's all you see is Backham throwing down a Dallas defender before that catch.

This is my daughters Senior year. The next four years will fly by. High school ball has been a lot of fun. Its different than travel. She has been very fortunate to play with the girls she has. Go Lady Bears

According to the folks on the Texas Downlow board, we are in for a big surprise... What worries me is that we have, essentially, had 2 bye weeks in a row. WE MUST find a way to elevate back to the same play and intensity we had against HJ. If we don't we WILL be in trouble.

From 2000 (year we went to 3A) thru 2006 the football program went 56-31 with 2 DC, 8 playoff wins, and 3 rounds deep 3 times. I would say the program was headed in the right direction. Since 2007 its been 35-50 with no playoff wins. Complete opposite direction. While I agree we've never been a football power there's no reason we can't compete and make a little noise every year.

Why is your 12/13 year old worrying about being noticed by scouts. More importantly, why are you? Teach him to love he game, and learn the lessons it can teach (teamwork, toughness, perseverance, etc) That will take him further than the game itself
