1. Soulja..I usually have respect for you posts, but you are being a jerk. This thread was started by a Ned fan, not PNG fan. We are very proud of our stadium and hope that visiting fans enjoy our facilities. I know that ya'll are proud of your new stadium and you have a right to be. Because what I have seen of it, it looks like a fantastic stadium. I am looking forward to going to at least one game(PNG vs Ozen) this year. Lets leave it at that and not turn this thread into something ugly. I have a lot of respect for Central's football program and I would hope you have the same for PNG's...Peace.
2.
Talked w/my Nam Sgt.Rodriquez in San Antonio and he said alot of the Tejano's are leaving near the Alamodome as he heard them saying 30,000 indians were heading that way and they're a powerful tribe  and were undefeated in many battles last yr.and their drums can be heard for miles.Taco bell has already shut down communications  to run for the border:D
LOL! ;D Thats funny. I don't care who you are, thats funny.
3. I am sorry that what is pride in our school is taken as arrogance. I know there are people that get on this board that run their mouths about PNG and turn people off, but you have those  "fans" at every school. I have to catch myself sometimes when I am gushing with pride over my Indians to other people. I don't want them to take it as an insult to their school. I guess its kind of like your kids....you love to talk about how proud of them you are and sometimes go overboard in the process. For those who were not raised in Port Neches or Groves, it probably is hard to understand the love for PNG that is ingrained in us from childhood. My children are 3rd generation Indians..we have played football, basketball, golf, soccer for PNG, been Indianettes, Indian singers, class officers, student council members..you name it. My hope is that my grandchildren will be 4th generation Indians and that God will bless me enough to live long enough to see them carry on the tradition.
4. Sounds like bh89-2 has been rolling something...and smoking it! Seems to me he talked a lot of trash before the first round of the playoffs last year...how did that work out for ya? Seriously, I have talked to some area coaches and they believe that BH firing Price was a HUGE mistake. i guess time will tell.
5.
i have direct t v cant get the games. but on direct i do have local ch
If you have a digital TV,you can use an antenna to receive the CW. It is on digital channel 6-2.
6.

honestly IMO i don't see how yall can even compare LCM to PNG. your talking about a team who went 4-6 to a team who went 11-1. when we played lcm we had our third string offense and defense in there after halftime. personally i think its gonna be a walk away for PNG.
I'm gonna have to call you out on this one, you are either crazy or you weren't at the game if you honestly believe that PNG had their third string O and D in the game at anytime. They were never up more than 7 points except in the first half, and I'm pretty sure no coach in their right mind would pull any starter in a game like that. The ignorance of that post is overwhelming. Maybe if you go take another look at the game film you will notice that no starters were even pulled, much less replaced by the 3rd string? Lol Get your facts straight buddy so you don't embarrass yourself again ;)
first off i never said i was talking about the PNG LCM game. i was talking about the Vidor LCM game so that just throws your argument out the window.
He is from VIDOR...NOT PNG...What part of that don't you understand? LCM played us (PNG) tough, I don't think PNG fans would dispute that.
7. Region III Championship = quarterfinals.
8. Amazing! Is there a thread that people don't hate on PNG on this site? WB you had a great regular season..who gives a crap what the enterprise ranks you? That doesn't get you any points in the playoffs. All that matters is what you do in the playoffs. I went to almost every game in 1982 as WB captured the state title, including the Finals against Hurst Bell in the dome. I cheered fro WB as hard as I would have for PNG. Friday I was happy for WB when they knocked off NS. I will be pulling for WB and ALL the local teams in the playoffs. Lets put away the petty crap and get on with letting the state know what SE Texas football is about!
9. Wow! Incredible game. soulja, Central has my respect too. Those kids fought their hearts out and I felt for them having to lose the way they did. Central has the fastest, most aggressive defense I have ever seen at the HS level. Harmon was inches away from breaking big runs all night, but because of the speed and attacking nature of Central's defense they made play after play. I can't imagine how ya'll lost to Livingston with the team I saw take the field tonight. I am so proud of my Indians i could just burst. Great job hanging in there when it looked like we were in for a sure loss. Good luck to Central in the playoffs! I know ya'll are capable of going far. Maybe we will end up with a doubleheader somewhre down the road. That would be a lot of fun.
10. I had a post of mine hijacked from pngindians.com and posted here either from the spring or pre-season practices..can't remember.Anyway, I was ridiculed for statements I made on a PNG forum about this new coaching staff and what I thought we had in store for not only this season, but years to come. I would just like to say to the people who attacked me..you have now seen what I predicted would happen. Not bragging or talking trash, but I am so glad that the what I was anticipating has come true. Also, high school football does not take years to build a program as some people tried to remind me..it can be turned around quickly as witnessed. You only have kids for 2 or 3 years, so the coaches that can identify the talent, put it in the right places, take advantage of it strengths and adjust the system to fit the kids can be successful.
11. I LOVE Cherokee! Can't hear it enough. PNG Proud is getting a little long in the tooth, so he just is tired of standing for cherokee!lol  ;D
12. I saw the fumble on the tailgate party on ch 6..it WAS a fumble..the RB dives forward to get extra yardage and the ball gets knocked out on his way down. For those who have DVR you can slow it down and tell..when his elbow hits the ground the ball is on the ground to his right. The runner called down inside the one did score, but Vidor scored on the next play. This was one of the better called games of the year. Vidor must be really disciplined to run the ball that much and not hold even once.
13. LR1969..You have to be kidding me. We were running out the clock and Harmon just made an excellent run. Its not like we were throwing to the end zone. Also, it was not an onside kick..it was a squib kick to prevent a big return..surely you know the difference.Sounds like you are looking for negatives. Coach Faircloth is big in FCA, so please don't comment on his not saying a prayer with Vidor. IMO it is best to get teams separated after a game as soon as possible,so I have no problem with that. If Matthews wanted to do it he should have asked before the game. I have nothing but respect for Matthews, but we have a classy man in charge of our program. So please don't direct your sour grapes toward a good, christian man. Vidor is tough and should represent well in the playoffs.
14. I am so sorry for the loss. From what I know of you from this board and the PNG board, his daughters will be raised by a good family man. God bless you and your family.
15. Great post 9doggies.. ;D Thats how i feel for a whole year after we lose to the dogs. You gave me a good laugh after a long day! I think this may be closer than people think..we have a hard time putting together 4 good qtrs. If we do have 4 good qtrs it could get ugly because of ned being so depleted. I think ned will play inspired ball and keep it close in the 4th. Ned defensive coaches will have to earn their pay for the 1st time in over a decade for MCM. This aint your fathers PNG offense! I say PNG by 2 TDs.
16. LCM is a different team with a different attitude this year..Ned will find that out next week. BH is a lot tougher team than many expected this year..Ask Lumberton, BH gave them all they wanted. I feel for ned this year.I hate to see one kid get hurt, much less the high number that ned has lost this year. The reality is that every game in 20-4A is going to be a knock-down,drag out affair this season. I don't think we will really know who is that good until probably week 6. One thing I do know is that I am very proud of our boys and our coaching staff and I believe we have great things in store for us. Puma maybe you should be more supportive of your team instead of slamming other teams and their fans..
17. pirate..if you are such a great fan of Vidor, why didn't you drive to Houston to watch your team? ???
18. Does anyone know what happened to QB Brandon Williams from Central? I know he signed a letter of intent to A&M but he is not on their roster. Was he a non-qualifier and went to JUCO? He is one helluva athlete!
19. Both years we have played since ya'll have been running the spread Ned passed the ball a bunch. Thats what I based it on. I know Grogan had a good year by reading the papers. I will let Coach Faircloth's offense speak for itself this fall.
