Prayers from PNG. I am so sorry. I can't  imagine what it would be like to lose a child that young. Surfer73 has it right. I tell my kids I love them every time one of us leaves the house or I talk to them on the phone. My heart breaks for his family and his football family.

Congrats Pirates! Way to fight to the end. Not many people would think that the Wing T could move the ball down the field that quick for the game winning score. Now my Indians need to hang loss number 2 on the Panthers next week.

Hey BrenhamFan...do you know how Willis is doing this year? They had a lot of good athletes when we played them last year and they were supposed to be bringing almost all their starters back this year...very explosive offense.

Football04..I agree. Squaw's attitude is ridiculous. I got mine, so screw everyone else. I feel fortunate to have season tickets and having tickets for mcm guaranteed every year. Not everyone's work schedules/family situations allow them to camp out at the administration building to get tickets. There would be a lot more than a couple hundred extra fans attend this game at a bigger venue. If that can't be done, move it to Thursday or Saturday night so it can be televised...Coppell vs Denton Guyer is on Fox Sports tonight, that could be us!

The Dupont/Sun Oil/Philpott puppies lose 28-17. Don't know what your point is, but take a look at the athletic budgets of PNG and ned....ned has twice the funds, plus up until 3 years ago, ned had a booster club and PNG didn't.  Money wont determine the outcome of this game, the boys on the field will.

Razor..the talking trash wasn't directed at you...you gave the kid props. I am surpised he hasn't had more offers. All he does is produce every game, no matter who is trying to defend him. Lamar must have their heads up their butts to not show him any interest. They may end up regretting that for four years if he ends up in the Southland.

Razor...I was replying to gtbaseball. I am well aware that Jayce had a big game last year and we still lost. Gtbaseball said neumann would come up with a way to stop him. No need to talk trash on a kid's article in the paper...didn't see anyone from PNG talking trash about Corbin Carr's article. I am sure both of these kids and gheir parents are proud to have an article written about them.

Nuemann didn't stop him last year and nobody has last year or this year. Nuemann wont be playing db for the puppies, so he can scheme all he wants...when Jayce jumps over ned's dbs and takes the ball from them it wont matter what strategy he has.

Football04..no offense taken. The reason to televise or move the game to Lamar is not to attract local fans of other teams. There are A LOT of PNG and ned fans that are not able to get tickets that would love to be able to be part of this experience. For the record, I am a season ticket holder and have been for many years, so this does not benefit me. I just hate that there will be a lot of broken hearts this Friday night because they wont be able to go to the game.

I have been saying this. The problem is that season ticket holders would throe a fit. I would gladly give up my reserved seating in order for more people to go to this game. It is a shame so many people get left out. Maybe Lamar could do something to appease season ticket holders. Either that or play it on Saturday so it can be broadcasted live.

Don't you think you should worry about winning a game first, before making a" statement"? I am sure the Pirates are shaking in their boots.

GoDogs27...there are plenty of people on both sides that feel like you do, including me. There is nothing wrong with that. Washington Redskin fans would never pull for the Cowboys...that's just the way it is. I can't stand ned as far as sports go and I will pull for the other team almost every time. If PNG needed ned to win to help us go to the playoffs, then I would pull for the dogs....just like ned and central were pulling for us to beat ozen in 2003 so they could make the playoffs. While I can't stand ned the team, there are plenty of people from there that I like and respect. While I will pull against the dogs, I have no ill will for the players on that team, I am sure there are a lot of good kids on your team. I am sure most people from ned that" hate" PNG have the same feelings.  Bamakid....for the older folks on this site, PNG and ned had a lot less friendly rivalry when we were growing up and were not nearly as integrated as we are now. I think baseball and other youth sports have put these kids together more than in the past and there are a lot of relationships these kids form at a younger age. So don't take the" hate" talk literally. GoDogs...I salute you in telling the truth and I share in the mutual" hatred"! ;D

The team with more points 'deserves to win'! Vidor only had 2 1st downs the entire 1st half. Bulldog Ints kept Vidor in the game during the 1st half. Nederland 'deserved' the 'W'. Vidor is a solid team, and they made the appropriate adjustments at half and moved the ball well. Ned just kept coming back. Big catch from Kimler on 4th down was huge. He was also double covered. I and a lot of Indians will be pulling for Vidor and who ever else lines up against ned. That's just the way it has always been for me and a lot of Indians.Some Nederland posters have really shown a lot of arrogance by acting like Vidor is beneath them and therefore does not deserve any rival status...or at least that is  what I take from it. From what I have seen and heard, Vidor is gonna be a tough, scrappy little team this year and shouldn't be taken lightly. I agree with Coach on the other thread...if people think highly enough of your school and football program to consider you a rival, take that as a compliment. Before any bulldogs attack me...it's ok, you can hate PNG and pull against us every week, too. That's how it is supposed to be!

Most PNG fans are obnoxious and rude? Really? Brenham is the poster child for arrogant fans. I don't really care if you pull for us or not.You are the one that called Faircloth a fluke.I doubt you guys get knocked out early again, Brenham is  loaded... GoDogs27...It doesn't matter if PNGFan is focused on TC or not. I am sure our players and coaches are very focused this week. Most PNG fans respect your program and what Neumann has done there. It is so early in the season, it is hard to tell who has what at this point. Ya'll are 2-0 and we are 1-1, so I won't be talking trash on ya'll.I was impressed that ya'll beat WOS...that is a tough team to open up with.

BrenhamFan..Ya'll eliminated us from the playoffs the same number of times Kingwood Park eliminated Brenham. :D I do agree that we should have went for two with around three minutes left in the game.But I will always disagree wih kicking a 40 yd FG in HS vs. trying to get a yard on 4th down against a team that you have moved the ball up and down field all day against. Maybe at Brenham with all the great soccer players you have, a 40 yard FG is automatic, but most schools, including PNG last year, do not have that ability. I don't know why we didn't go for two, but I do know that Coach Faircloth knows more about football than you and me combined, so I will stick with him. Maybe when he moves on you can apply for the job, since you seem to have the pulse of PNG football.
