I am not a big Nederland fan, obviously, but I respect the hell out of what ya'll accomplished this year after starting so slow. The injuries ya'll have had at qb the past few years have been unbelievable, but the dogs just keep plugging and find a way to win with who they have. I agree 100% about HIGH SCHOOL KIDS hurting after leaving the field for the last time...that is why I have taken so much offense to brenham fans taunting teams when they beat them. Please do not take one comment from a PNG fan and throw us all in the same boat, most of us were pulling for ya'll. Cooligan..I agree, y'all have a lot coming back and some good kids coming up, but to attack our upcoming kids in retaliation to one post, makes you look just as bad. Congrats to Crosby...evidently you guys get better as the season goes on, at least that has been the case the last 2 years. Good luck the rest of the way.

Like I said...BH would bring it, and they did. I was very impressed with BH one on one tackling....we couldn't get anything going on the wr screens and swing passes because of excellent tackling. Also, your boys never quit and played with a lot of heart. We need to clean up some things if we want to keep advancing....too many mental errors at key points when we had a chance to put the game away. We need to play with the fire and sense of urgency that we had against Central to keep our season going. Every time we started moving the ball in the 2nd half we either had a penalty or made a mistake to kill the drive. Also, some strange playcalling in spots. We looked like we were playing to not lose and sitting on the lead. We need to take every possesion seriously and get some killer instinct in our playcalling to put teams away or it will come back to haunt us in the playoffs. These teams are too good now to let them hang around.

There have been so many classy BH people on here. ::) I don't judge BH by the posters on here, so you shouldn't judge everyone by two dogs post, which was done in fun after comments about it raining. When you you have a whole crowd taunting the opposing team and players like brenham does is what I was talking about. As far as Manvel, 4th roind, etc....BrenhamFan is the one that brought that up. I wish ya'll a sfe trip to and from the game...I just hope the 3-plus hours in between won't be very enjoyable for ya'll. ;D I expect BH to bring it just like they did last year. I have posted this here before....I respect any kids that busts his butt for his school and makes the sacrifices neccesary to do so... two dogs...loved the basketball picture...I know it was in good fun!

We also sing it after every game, win or lose. The song brenham fans sing is directed at the opposing team and fans.....we kicked your butt, now go home. Evidently we have a different definition of class. That is usually what drunk college students sing after their basketball team eliminates someone from the tournament. I never said that you were afraid of us. A team as good as brenham should fear no team. PNG doesn't fear brenham, we respect them as a good team. I can promise you, if we meet again and beat ya'll, the PNG fans won't be taunting your team and fans. It is a heart breaking thing to see your team fight their hearts out and lose and end their season. Being mocked with a song is not something that people want to hear when their season is done. Its one thing to take a loss hard, but when you can't win with class, what does that say about you? I am sure that your lack of class pissed off every team you beat by singing that song. So I am sure I have a lot of other team's fans that agree with me. I hope Aledo was gracious enough to not taunt you after the Cubs and their fans were heartboken after losing the State Championship.

I don't know what the problem is, maybe we gave his precious cubbies too much of a scare last year. He was probably afraid he would have to eat his words...you know, the classy brenham fans singing "nah nah nah hey hey hey goodbye" to our team and fans before we scored to bring the game down to a 6 point deficit. My two new favorite High School teams...PNG and whoever is playing Brenham. Also, because the all-knowing BrenhamFan didn't agree with a couple of calls Coach Faircloth made, he thinks he is a "fluke". I would think a fan with such a great team would be more interested his his team than lurking around waiting to pounce on another team on a message board.

Those are possibilities, but I hope we keep him for a while. Those jobs don't come open very often, though. I don't think he would go back to Permian because of the dynamics of the school district and area. When Faircloth left from there and Allman went to Westlake, I was looking at their site to get some info on Faircloth and there was a lot of talk about the decline of the area and the decline of the school district. From what I understand, Allman is from Permian and still chose to leave because of the future there. The cost of living in the above districts would be a lot higher than Port Neches, so a job offer would probably have to include a significant raise. He has some top notch assistants and I know we will lose some of them, but hopefully we keep him and I trust he will fill in with top assistants.

I saw someone from Kirbyville bitching on the Enterprise about player of the week several weeks ago and they were told to nominate their players. Other teams can be recognized without it being an insult to Kirbyville. I have been extremely impressed with Coach Alvarez and your football team. I would love to see ya'll win a State Championship. Ford is a beast and I can't wait to see him play on Saturdays, hopefully in CS. Nominate someone from Kirbyville this coming week and I will vote for him!

Sounds like a very strong young man. What a inspiration to go through what he has and to excel instead of using it as a crutch and reason to go the wrong way in life. After all he was put through, he still has enough love to forgive those who hurt him the most. I hope that great things are in store for him in college and hopefully the NFL. He made a comment about how they may be as good as any other team in the state in 4A...and he wasn't just blowing smoke. Even though the events of the past two seasons has heated up things, I think both teams respect each other. Its just knuckleheads that get behind a keyboard that seem to disrespect each other. Coach Faircloth said that playing a team like Central can only make you better and get you ready for the playoffs. I promise you, most PNG fans have a lot of respect for Central. I think it will be another great one and i hope for no injuries for either team. I am hoping this game game will be a springboard for both teams to make a playoff run.

Here's another question....Who cares? All these "who is the best" threads turn into a homer contest and end up with people talking crap on a kid or talking crap on a school. All 3 have had great seasons and Mitchell is going to be something else these next two years. It is going to be a tough vote for the coaches when voting for All-District this year. I find it hilarious that people act with shock that someone would pick one over another that doesn't line up with their opinion.
