Anyone who says they weren't impressed by the twins tonight is a lier that torched that defense. We made mistakes that lost us this game, and a tough loss of a very good linebacker means a vidor win, congrats. 46 can't do everything, need his buddy 47 to help him out. But honestly our defense was just so bad tonight our offense couldn't bell them out. GL vs your opponent Vidor.
Do you realize how pathetic this makes you look? If your defense can only function because of one player, then something is wrong. Everyone has injuries and has to keep playing. Your defense was playing so bad? How about Vidor was playing great and whipped your butts. You got outscored 21-7 in the second half, so you got whipped on both sides of the ball. Did #47 being out shut your offense down, too? No, Vidor whipped you on both sides of the ball and special teams in the second half. Be a man and admit that Vidor was the better team and stop making ridiculous excuses.
 2. Great analysis ndn2016. I went to the game tonight and contrary to the butt hurt 19-4A fans, Crosby did not give this game away. Vidor took this game and forced mistakes by Crosby. They gave them a good old-fashioned beat down. There were a lot of cheap shots taken by Crosby and #11 should have been kicked out after his first PF...totally classless. I don't remember Crosby acting like this when we played them. Congrats Pirates! A well deserved win, no doubt.
 3.
I wish someone would take this thread off the board and bury it in the backyard, deep where it never comes up again.
Exactly. This has no bearing on this game. Vidor needs to focus on beating the Crosby football team and not worry about Crosby's local politicians and their ignorance. Good luck Pirates! Me and my purple crew will be there tomorrow night cheering ya'll on.
 4. octfeb...should be a good one. I can't wait for Saturday! PNG will do their best to help your basketball program get some athletes back sooner than usual.

KLVI will be doing the Lamar basketball game instead.
I know that it is probably contractual, but it is not smart to broadcast LU basketball over Nederland playoff football. Seems like you would want your programming to attract as many listeners as you can. Oh well, I guess the 3 people who will listen to the LU game will be happy. ;)
Not our radio station... If high school football is going on, any sports including NFL rides flea here. It's all about the local youth.
Do they broadcast Dayton basketball? If so, that should be your next broadcast after Saturday. ;D

 7.
This is a thread about Ned's 500 milestone, not PNG's. How about a nice congrats? Thanks.
Forgive me. I was responding to a post about our 500th win, which was in relation to where ned stood on the alltime victory list. Geez! A little sensitive, aren't ya? C-O-N-G-R-A-T-U-L-A-T-I-O-N-S!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Happy now? Seriously though, it is a great accomplishment. Ya'll have a lot to be proud of on the other side of the tracks.
 8. PNG won number 500 in 2005. It was a crazy night. It was when we got back from Rita and it was a weekday night AND Halloween. There was a really bad thunderstorm so the game didn't start until after 10 PM and ended after midnight. Lumberton only had a handful of fans and we had less than a thousand(WAG...Wild...Guess) who rode out the storm and stayed for the game...proud to say I was one of them!
I'm sure y'all are in the top 80. PN-G only hit it, like, five years ago, maybe?
9. Wow! It's ONLY been 30 years since BH made it past the 2nd round...impressive!

 11.
BH to 20-4a.  That sound you heard is the collective Hill fans butts' puckering in unison.  The thought of playing in a real district is just too much for Haircutter's Mound Eaglets.  Side note - Dear Santa, forget the toy train and new socks for Christmas.  All I want is BH in 20-4A!!!  Signed, Everyone who wants to beat up on an arrogant group of wanna be fans. 15. I hope everything works out for Bolinger. When he is healthy, that kid has jets. He brings yall's offense to a different level. Lions#80..I agree, Bull's health is too important to risk for a game. I guess I have been out of the loop...what is his injury?
 16. How about a nice carrot cake? Seriously though, I want Vidor to win so PNG will get the #1 seed. Vidor needs to do what is best for Vidor and if that means resting kids, so be it. From what I saw Friday, Bolinger is no where near 100%. I also heard that Quirante got banged up in the Central game and got worse during the PNG game, which is why he was off throwing the ball and wasn't in the game in the 4th qtr. I won't reveal his injury, because I know there are Livingston eyes on this board. On one hand, you don't want to go into the playoffs with a 2 game losing streak, but on the other hand, this game has no bearing on Vidor's playoff seeding and you want your studs to be healthy for the playoffs. Tough decision for Coach Mathews, that's why he makes the big bucks! Do any Livingston posters know if Bull will be available if you make the playoffs? Its a shame he got hurt his senior year.
 17. That is my  point exactly...LET IT GO. aries456 said it perfect..a few people are making two good communities look ridiculous. NDNtime...Let's say you are right...Vidor put that sign up as a shot at Faircloth and then LIED ABOUT A 18 YEAR OLD'S DEATH TO COVER IT UP.... do you think those same people have a conscience about what you think about them? That is an amazing accusation you have made that they would lie about A KID'S DEATH. Many people have been very vocal about disagreeing with Faircloth/PNG not taking a knee...why would they make up this kind of excuse now, instead of owning  it? Also, it was LCM who brought up this whole taking a knee issue, not Vidor.....why would they make a sign about it? LET IT GO.
 18.

The coaches from PNG and Vidor have a very good relationship with each other. There are a lot of them that have coached together and they respect each other. Having said that, there is no way Mathews or his wife would have made a sign to disrespect Faircloth. If you noticed, the Vidor players all stopped and said a prayer on the 28 yard line when they came out before the game and after halftime. I even saw some of them after the  game kneeling and praying at the 28. Believe it or not, not everyone lives and dies by this message board. The people who made this sign probably had no idea of the posts on this  board.
If the sign was symbolic of taking a knee at the 28 yard line, then why was the sign placed at the goalline at the opposite end of the field instead of at the 28? If it were at the 28, I might buy such explanation.
Who cares? Its over. That is my point. People have explained Coach Faircloth's reasoning on this. If other teams fans don't like it, it really doesn't matter. I thought people from other schools were being ridiculous for making a big deal about...I think you and others are being ridiculous about throwing a fit about A SIGN. I am sure Coach Faircloth hasn't given any thought to it, if he even saw the sign. If Vidor fans say it was a tribute to Matt Thomas then why shouldn't we believe them? If they would lie about something like that, they have bigger problems than a sign
 19. I am proud of the Indians for hanging on to win this game and respect the Pirates for fighting to the bitter end. Many posters from Vidor have congratulated us and said how proud they are of their team. Both teams left it all on the field.....why can't we as fans do the same? I for one, will be pulling for both teams the rest of the season/post-season.

 21.
Congrats to PNG!  Ya'll outplayed us tonight.  And in fact crushed us for 3 quarters.  But Vidor is not done!  Take away the Turnovers and it could have gone the other way.  I am not making excuses for tonight, but I am just pointing out that we can still win some more games this season.  I think 20-4A could win a lot of playoff games this year!
I hope you are right. Good luck next week(it helps PNG) and good luck in the playoffs!
 22. Bollinger is definitely still hurt. I take no joy in that and I don't begrudge mytwocents for being proud of his brother. Vidor showed a lot of heart tonight and scared the heck out of a lot of Indians at the end. We need to move on to Central next week AND we need to be Vidor's biggest fans next week. If they beat Livingston, we will be the #1 seed in  D2.
 23. OK. I will be the one wearing purple. ;D Eating crow goes both ways. I have refrained from making predictions or talking trash, because I hate jinxing my team. It should be a great game and after tonight, I will be pulling for the Pirates for the rest of the season/post-season. I hope for a good, clean injury free game.
 24. Benoit was the backup QB behind Tatum and was going to be the QB in 2009 if Burnett stayed. That's where that comment came from. Talk to kids that were in the program then, they will tell you. Doty was running the option on JV and hurt his knee as a sophomore. No doubt he was a great talent, but that's not the issue. My point is, these coaches know what they are doing and for fans to question them on what a kid has done at the end of games during mop up time is ridiculous.
 25. Wow. Shouldn't all you "coaches" be preparing for a game tonight, instead of getting on a message board? Arvie has done really well at the end of games against defenses that have been beaten down. All Bertrand has done is put himself in the elite of all-time PNG rushers and carried the load for us the past two years. If Arvie was the better back, he would have been starting last year as a junior on Varsity instead of Bertrand. The Arvie love I have seen on here and the PNG site is really puzzling to me. Let's remember, if faircloth wouldn't have came here, Doty would not have played QB his junior year and Miller wouldn't have even been a QB. I think I will trust his judgement instead of all you "internet coaches" who have probably never been to a PNG practice to see what the coaches see. Good Lord.
