Silsbee held WO-S to just 41 rushing yards on 22 plays. 2 yard average. Turner had 27 yards on 12 carries. Mustangs threw for 119 on 26 attempts. Total offense for WO-S was 160 yards on 48 plays. 3.33 yards per play.
Silsbee had a total of 302 yards of offense (191 passing, 111 rushing)

Vidor tried slowing them down shutting off the lights before the game. 🤣🤣

WOS coaches got out coached by baseball coaches lol. Only reason WOS won was they have more Jimmy’s and Joe’s. The “program” is over. Honestly I like that WOS WAS the winningest program in the State. WOS welcome to average. 

Makes sense. I guess ill use Brownwood HC Gordon Wood had 7 championships and was dominant now not so much. They dont have any feeder schools near there. 

That talent is in Hitchcock, Dickinson, League City and sprinkles over at TC.

Looking at Beaumont school's football W-L ratios, I believe Kelly would be looking better and better every day.

I think its gonna be a close one. If they defeat Livingston it will come down to Lumberton and LCM for the DC. 

I get it. Against Silsbee yes back them up. LCM i would have moved them up. I think Jeff Matthews was a pretty good HC and it might be showing a tad. Would you agree?

I do.  Mathews was a great motivator and got the best out those young men.  So far I'm not seeing that with the new HC.  The kids look to be very undiscipline (not all of them).

Hamshire-Fannett is now 3-0 in Homecoming games this year. HF will host Libery on 10/27/2023 for their last Homecoming game of the season, in which HF will be heavy favorites. If HF prevails, will this be a new state record? Can any team boast a better Homecoming record (4-0) in one year?

Here we go. This pseudo rivalry started back in 86. All time 31-0 vs BC. Closest game was in 96... 24-21. I feel like that was a last sec GW FG by one of my classmates.
