Agree on all points...Republicans are cowards on this issue and there are very few that make it a priority.
Some say, we as Republicans don't want to dictate social issues to others.  This is not a simply a social issue to me, it is an attack on the sanctity of life...the most innocent of life.
Everyone is up in arms over the latest legislation from Kathy Tran, as they should be, but what is hypocritical about the "pro-life" Republican lawmakers to me is, why haven't you been up in arms about this issue all along?
Tran's bill simply put a more graphic face on abortion, the result is still the same.
It's sad that so-called pro-life Republicans are more concerned with losing moderate votes than they are about meeting this issue head on.
 
 
 

Well said, I never even imagined we would be considering something like this.  I agree that it won’t get enough support NOW, but it will be effective to move that line a little further in the sand.
It’s a shame all Democrats don’t have your mindset, Hoops...or Republicans mine, of course.

The good news for the GOP is that all you have to do is give the Dems some rope and they will start the self-hanging.  I wonder if turning decent folks’ stomachs is a campaign strategy.   Roe had become a non-issue with a lot of independent, swing voters.  I can’t imagine, however, that these latest atrocities aren’t going to be pushing a lot of those folks to the right side of the aisle.

A young woman brought her fiancé home to meet her parents.
After dinner, her mother told the girl's father to find out about the young man.
The father invited the fiancé to his study for a talk. 
"So, what are your plans?" the father asked the young man.
"I am a biblical scholar," he replied

A driver was stuck on a highway outside of Washington DC.   Nothing was moving, everything at a standstill.

“Terrorist have kidnapped the entire US Congress, and they’re asking for a $100 Million dollar ransom.  Otherwise, they’re going to douse them all in gasoline and set them on fire.”  We’re going from car to car collecting donations.”

I wish I could.  I am troubled as well.  We might have differing views on immigration (probably do) but sounds like we are in agreement on the abortion issue.  

I don't think it'll matter. From what I read, I don't see her making it to the end of the year. Barring something barbaric, like keeping a dead person hooked up to a machine for political reason. Buuuuttt, Democrats do love killing babies so who knows

There was a time when my TV never changed stations.  It would remain on espn all day long.  I would watch and re-watch sports center over and over, looking for any little detail that I may have missed from the previous show.  Now days, my TV may land on espn 30 minutes a week.  I watch the nfl network for football updates and the MLB network for baseball.

One interesting outcome will be that Stone's lawyers will be able to question the committee members that Stone supposedly lied to.  This includes, but not limited to, Adam Schiff, the commie Democratic Congressman.  This will be very interesting with that one!

I would never have chosen Trump over most Republicans, but since he's been in, I have been pleased with his disruption of the "way things are", as well as other achievements.
Too bad so many are blinded by their hatred for him to even see them.

Smart enough to get me a tax cut, smart enough to roll back ridiculous regulations put in place by Obama, smart enough to appoint 2, possibly 3 SC justices, smart enough to eventually get the wall built, smart enough to redo NAFTA for the better, smart enough to get better trade deals with China....smart enough to beat Hillary.

Agree...it looks like there is no good mechanism in place to replace an incapacitated SCJ other than impeachment.
