That is great however the current administration is doing everything they can to take the guns out of the hands of the people. So by state law you can legally carry in IA but I would not doubt if soon, it would be illegal by federal law 
There are people in this forum and the others that say, the Democrats are not trying to take your guns.

Just watched a News report on a young Houston mother who’s in jail for murdering her 6 year old son.   Got two Life Insurance policies on him and killed him with an overdose of NyQuil, Meth and cocaine.  I’m just sick of how insane people are now.  Is there no end to how depraved we’ve gotten?
Saw an article recently that said church goers are only 49% of society.  No wonder there are so many sick people.   😢😢😢

I’m a moderate Republican (well, I’d be a libertarian if the party had any relevance).  I don’t get bent out of shape over some of the same things that your more right-leaning republicans do.  That being said, I think the idea that the left is peddling that being forced to prove you are who you say you are to vote is absurd.  The goal should be a transparent, fair voting system where every true vote is counted, and where voter fraud is eliminated.  If the left is so concerned about people on the margins of society being able to vote, there are easy policies that can be implemented to ensure that everyone who wants to can get the means needed to legally vote.  By pushing for methods of voting that will be easily manipulated by fraud, it’s hard not to conclude that fraud is one of the primary objectives.  

Did you pull that statement about President Trump out of mid-air?  Nowhere has anyone made this comment!

The sad thing is as soon as one of these comes out you know the radical left is praying for a white, right wing militia guy to be responsible.  When it turns out not to be, the shooting certainly gets a lot less press.

The Supreme Court. I don’t care what isle those justices sit on ....left middle and right.  I ve been against abortion since I was a kid and could understand it....this has nothing to do with the thought “trump s justices will overturn it”
