Agree, they do get way out there sometimes but there is truth in many of their articles that you won’t see in the MSM.
 
I could make the same National Enquirer claim about cnn and msnbc and it would be closer to the truth. 

Sounds just about right for the dumbing down of America trajectory.

This mess reminds me of the JonBenet Ramsey case. People were glued to their TV's 24/7 for weeks on end, almost in a trance, waiting breathlessly for any miniscule bit of news to break. Morbid fascination, really. Meanwhile dozens if not hundreds of kids of different ages also went missing and no media even notices.

I’m sure the almighty dollar lies somewhere in that equation.

My college football coach used to say something similar regarding our midnight curfew. I can’t repeat what he said, but it was in the same spirit. Lol.

I used to get that while on night patrol back in the mid 80s and the again when I commanded the gang unit in the early 2000s. 
Double hashbrowns with grilled jalapeños and onions, and covered with country gravy. At our half-price it was about $1.10.
I had been on the swat team for about 10 years up until the early 2000s. I was around 180 pounds and would practice by jogging 3 times a week as much as 5 miles a night. After I join the gang unit I gained about 20 pounds in about five months.… literally.  😀
