  1. The Best High School Football Stadium 2026 is down to Bruce Bradshaw Stadium vs Bulldog Stadium in La Porte. I can't believe Bulldog beat out Eagle Stadium in Allen! But, I must admit, Bulldog is VERY sweet, and just about the right size with the lighting, sound system, open concourse with the picnic tables, and even A/C in the heads. The video screen is awesome as well. Add in the seabreeze from the Bay about 200 yards away, and it's pretty nice.

  2. Obviously didn’t read what Martin Luther, John Quincy Adams, or Winston Churchill had to say about the so-called ‘religion of peace.’ While I don’t paint all Muslims with the same brush, the belief system itself is built on violence, slavery, and lies. Of course, Obama hadn’t read their thoughts either when he defended the belief system at the U.N. in 2012, and he had the ‘benefit’ of 9/11 as proof. The Boston Marathon bombing in 2013 didn’t change his mind either.

I think he went in with the noblest of intentions. Whether convinced by outside intel or not is irrelevant. He made the choice. My firm belief is he thought Iran would fold, and collapse early on. He didn't understand the regime, and has recently admitted as much when he backtracked on thinking he could negotiate with them, and called them crazy. He should have known all along. But, many Western minds just don't get it. They can't tie the religious zealot mind to something they can comprehend. Yes. I believe he feels it needs to be done. But, not for altruistic reasons, or even National Security. Now, it's his pride, arrogance, and legacy. He doesn't want the black mark. He wants to be remembered as the POTUS who stopped the terrorist regime and proxies in the Middle East, and this isn't looking good for him. All politicians have egos. His is one of--if not the--biggest I can recall in my 60+ years. He can't stop now. That being said, round up the C-130's, their escorts & about 4 MOABs, and let it rain. Then, decide if a tactical ground assault in key, specific areas is still required. Stop with the pinpoint pricks that cost over $1MM a pop. Bury an area with a $250k munition that will make them think Allah has arrived as they desire. Guarantee if 4 or 5 MOABs shook the country almost simultaneously, it might be a wake-up, come to Allah moment. At least, there wouldn't be much for the IRGC to recover and reconstitute.

I sometimes wonder if the powers that be make sure we have to choose from 80 year olds who—understandably—aren’t at the top of their mental capacity, or other easily controlled ‘faces.’ I remember asking my dad before he passed at 87–and still active and President of the Board of a sizeable credit union—if he thought an 80 year old could still handle the tasks required of a POTUS. His answer was quick. “No way in heck.” I know there’s no upper age limit. But, I wonder if there should be…

  13. Does Trumpstein even have a plan? Weve won this war 48 times already. Iran has been completely decimated every other week. How does that make sense?

  16. The Epstein Files Transparency Act (H.R. 4405 / Pub. L. 119-38) is a federal law signed into law by President Donald Trump on November 19, 2025. It mandates that the Department of Justice (DOJ) publish all unclassified records, investigative materials, flight logs, and travel records related to Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell in a searchable format.

I beg to differ. I graduated from Vidor in the 90s. I was in school and played when Vidor had the pleasure of playing North Shore, WB, Central, LaPorte, the Baytown schools, etc... and we did not avoid the program. The sidelines were packed with players. We looked forward to two-a-days, we looked forward to Friday night lights. Also, had the pleasure of playing for Vidor in its first year in 4A (20-4A). Again, the sidelines were packed with players. Never mattered to us if we went 0-10 or 5-5... we packed the sidelines with players. So, to me the decline in players is due to current coaching. Players want something new. They are tired of the same old offense. They want to be able to throw and catch. They want to be excited. The late, great Dan Hooks once said... You'll know when you're done playing Vidor because they'll hit you in the mouth for 48 minutes.... That was said back in the 90s.

The problem with Vidor is they let a losing coach force the hire of another losing coach. I believe they went 2-8 last year. His record at Vidor is 13-19. 12 years as a head coach, his overall record is 58-70 for win percentage of 45%. Point is, if nothing changes at Vidor -- then nothing will change!

9-5 comeback win. Arrighetti had to leave after 2nd inning due to injury. Astros used 7 pitchers.
