I watch the game on my iPad & post on my phone (not a big phone).  It took two attempts at every word, lol.  I love it when BB post, although how he does it is a mystery to me.  Tonight he must be at the dome, drinking cold beer, lol.

Their run will probably last as long as that QB is there, guys like that aren't easy to replace. Just look at the downturn from LCM after losing their QB from last season.

We've been saying this since week 3. Like high school French fries, salty but still needs the ketchup.

First, hello to my cousin Terry. I am a CT supporter. I think the change had nothing to do with hiring a winning coach. I think you will find out that the people who wanted change were not true football fans.

Well since u need to hear this. I only say something that is straight from a coach. Trust me u as an outsider has no idea how bad it is here. I through a hint earlier that it will only get worse for a reason. Something not meant to be shared on here.at the end of the day. Every side loses here. I wanna know since when do kids talk on cellphone at halftime.this thing is outta control.lol, try going to there practice and see !! Just today I had parent tell me that he would pay his kid not to go anymore.bcz, he doesn't like how things are going.i never thought in a million years would be here!!

Toothpaste is already out of the tube now,  an it’s going to be a mess trying to put it back in by hand.

Don’t know nothing about the kid that was kicked off, other than I’ve heard from several in the community that he was a turd.   Two sides to every story.
As far as the Carl Broussard story.   CT was a character witness.   He can only testify as to what he knew the man to be.   I’m fairly confident that CT didn’t condone he’s actions and what he was found guilty of.
I know Broussard personally, myself.   He coached at my high school in 1995, and I ran into him over the years.   What he did was beyond reproach, but that’s not the person I knew.
To say CT didn’t have morals, and wasn’t a man of a character as some in West Orange want ppl to believe is bull crap.  They are reaping what they have sown.

I for one was supporting the program and the new hire saying give him a chance. I never imagined such a spiraling meltdown. Here’s some key points.
The new hire was with the program under CT. He must not have been a very good learner. His plan was to change everything that works. At this rate LCM will not be recruiting players. They will be voluntarily lining up. The district has now invested millions into first rate facilities in support of a program that after not even a full season, is no longer first rate. The program has dug a hole that will be difficult to dig out of. I will not criticize Harris for what looks like a poor hire. It happens. How he handles it from this season forward will tell the tale.

They got change alright… upgraded the locker room and training facility, got a ‘coach who cares’. Big downgrade in the performance on the field, game plan and season record. A downturn from an experienced team with high expectations. What happens when they have a rebuilding year with a team full of underclassmen? Give the new guy more time to implement his changes across the program then watch the further decay and downward spiral. I say keep the change, change back to the old ball coach and his experienced assistants.

The only thing I'll say different, is, knowing he had no experience, he decided to hire coordinators who had no experience. So now, we have the 3 head guys who have a combined 0 years of experience at their positions.

You need to be careful who you include in "you". Most on this board DID NOT want CT to leave. Most of the people who played knew what held the program together.

    Correct.
The current Head Coach was the d-line coach.  Not even a coordinator.   I would expect something like that at Splendora, or Crockett,  but not the most ballyhooed program of all time.
The deeper issue could be them running all the assistant coaches off too.   The guys that left had well over 100+ years of coaching experience.    And they replaced them with far inferior coaches.   Look at the track records they brought with them.
For the most part, the head coach instills the culture, structure, discipline, expectations….. all of that.    The assistants coach, game plan, develop, all those things.    Not saying the head coach don’t coach and make adjustments, but WOS is pitiful in all areas.

4-5 on the year with what most considered a good team coming back.    Their season is done.   They will finish 6-6 on the year.   Maybe 5-6.   The kids have quit the coaches it seems.

Pfft… that’s the dumbest thing I’ve ever seen. Had no idea it went down like that in West Orange, just thought the old ball coach was retiring and moving on. What did he do hurt too many peoples feelings and make them work too hard? Demand respect and accountability, terrible.

Just an ongoing joke from me to the OP, I don’t have any evidence of wrongdoing or bring any accusations against anyone in particular. I like to mess with the guy because you see that program changing over there and I’m sure it will continue to change over the next few years. Just look at their basketball program, they have players from Orange, BC, Orangefield and even announce that during intros before the game. Call it what you want, I call it ‘cruitin’.

They should have had enough sense to put an experienced guy in there. You can’t have your players confused running around like they don’t know what to do. WOS always had their stuff together on the field, a well oiled machine.
