I know it’s the football board but Humble ISD having K Park, Kingwood, and Atascocita all playing for state titles next week is a quite impressive feat for a multi school district.

Silsbee finished in a 3-way tie with LaMarque and Bay City and did not advance

Sure seems like I mentioned 2 of those quality relievers in a post a couple of days ago. They are certainly pitching terrific I know some of you raved about how good they are. Are you sure!

Silsbee did not make the final of this qualifier. Some of the regular guys did not go to this qualifier. Silsbee had to play 5 incoming freshmen (basically 8th graders) in this one. This was Silsbee's last chance to qualify for state 7 on 7. They will not be playing any other qualifiers.

Hey all, Aaron with the East Chambers / Orange County broadcast here at SETX. We’re looking to expand our coverage in Orange County this season and need a few extra voices on the air (2-4 people). Currently working to confirm, but feel relatively confident that we can field two crews for the fall. It’s the same as any broadcast we do. We need passionate, consistent, and somewhat knowledgeable people who can show up with the provided equipment, run the broadcast, and put out play by play or color. This is a good opportunity for a college student, a retired coach (great for color), and community members/people who love the game of football. Not totally necessary to have experience, but if you come on board we’re expecting you to be decently prepared when we start on Week 1. **We do every broadcast here for free, it’s something we take pride in, but it takes ad sponsor partners in our area to pull some of it off. Just as a further request from our followers, if you know businesses in Orange County that would be willing to partner we’d love to hear about it. ***Likely need a color person on East Chambers as well. Yes sir, i voted yes on the bond. Score board wise i could care less about Jumbotron. They don't help win ball games and cant help you practice. It would be nice have an indoor facility also. But i would take a new middle school first over a indoor facility.

Condolences to you and your family on the passing of your dad. There is alot we can disagree on but watching your parents, spouse, kids anyone you are close to suffer through these diseases just sucks. .

I'm excited about the video score board, but it does look small from the road and it would have been nice to have a new middle school and turf on the softball and baseball fields.

They are our rivals in district in other sports, but it still hurt to see them lose and the boys also. Few schools can boast 2 champions getting that close.

My dad died in Jan 2025 from dementia related complications which were caused by hydrocephalus (fluid on brain) rather than.Altzheimers. He was misdiagnosed for 8 years, and i kept telling the docs that his decline was to rapid to be caused by Altzheimers ,so more research is definitely needed. A VP shunt would've saved his life if they would've properly dx him
