Kountze sophomore RB Etienne had around 140 yards rushing in the first half last night. He did fumble on the 3 yard line after a 70 yard run and left the game with what is thought to be a high ankle sprain. Hopefully he can make it back he is a talented young RB. Gonna be tough for Kountze to beat Shiro without him… I do believe they can beat New Waverly regardless.

I think Coach Rich is a good coach. I question the defensive staff. In his 2 years there the defense has been horrendous They must address that in the off season. The other thing that must improve is the passing game Hopefully they can get these issues fixed. 10-11 record after his 1st 2 seasons

We shall see if they have any effects come midterm. He can define predators.

I can’t see me marching in a parade, holding a sign, hoping my presence influences anyone’s thinking. These “No Kings” marches do absolutely nothing. If they do accomplish something, will someone please tell me what that something is. If Soros wasn’t funding these parades and the TV cameras weren’t rolling, none of these events wouldn’t even happen. I think a lot are staged for our benefit in order to make people believe that there are this many people in opposition. Remove Soros, these protests will cease. Soros has been kicked out of several countries, why we allow him to live here is beyond me. So please tell me what a No Kings rally accomplishes. I say nothing. I'm just noticing that in the first half we do not come with the rush defense until someone starts to smack talking one of our players. In the past we never let teams come to our field and beat us. I want to see a little more pride when it comes to protecting home field advantage. Our DB's NEED to play for the ball when it is thrown by the other team. Go for the ball!

Couple of notes: Abilene and Tascosa are going to play for the district championship. Frisco and McKinney North still play most likely for the final spot. North Mesquite and Dallas White still need to play and the winner should get the final spot. West Mesquite, Carrollton Creekview, and Carrollton Newman Smith are all 5-0 in district. District 7 is going to be really fun down the stretch! I'm only confident in Highland Park winning. Midlothian, Centennial, Red Oak, Tyler are all fighting for 3 spots. They all have their destiny in their own hands for now. Gotta win!! Cedar Park is in a interesting position, I think they could go 3-0 and win district or 0-3 and miss the playoffs if other games play out a certain way. Friendswood, Porter, and Kingwood Park all play each other. Best record from the games will get the last playoff spot. The most surprising team for me this year is Austin Anderson. Quietly 7-0 beating both College Station schools. Flour Bluff and PSJA North should be a great game for 1st place in district.
