  2. "President Trump was right — again," White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt said in a statement to Fox News Digital. "Those who engaged in this political scandal must be held accountable for the fraud they committed against President Trump and the lies they told to the American people." I'm not holding my breath, but it sure would be nice

  4. Bellville will have another tough slate this season IMO here are their opponents that are ranked heading into the season 4A D1 #1 Celina (Defending State Champions) 4A D1 #19 Ft Bend Crawford 3A D1 #1 Columbus (Defending State Champions) 3A D1 #9 Hitchcock 4A D2 #5 Sealy
  5. Now that we have access to the preseason rankings and we are trying to get through this last month or so before football gets going I wanted to open up this discussion … What team or teams in y’all’s opinions will run through a gauntlet this season based off their schedules and pre season rankings? What team in your opinion’s will have the toughest slate this year?
  6. DCTF District Projections 1. Orangefield 2. East Chambers 3. Hardin 4. Anahuac 5. Coldspring 6. Kirbyville 7. Buna Interesting that Orangefield’s LB Kaleb Menard is a pre season 3A All State pick but the pre season district defensive MVP pick is LB Kolby Jones of East Chambers… Could just be one of those accolades they won’t award both to one player kinda thing. No team from this district was in the Pre Season 3A D1 Top 25 rankings.
  7. Got mine yesterday as well
  8. Just another bump in the road for Hunter and Hader. 10-6 on 10th inning Grand Slam. They will recoup.
  9. From the article: Oh, the delicious irony. For many years I’ve been writing about the southern US border and the many ways in which Mexico has used it as a “steam valve” to get rid of people in perpetual poverty, as well as malcontents, violent criminals and political revolutionaries. Who could have foreseen a time when the conundrum would be reversed and Mexico would be crushed by an avalanche of its own unwanted citizens? But weren’t we told that migrants are an “economic boon” to any country lucky enough to have them? The argument among progressives and open border activists has always been that migrants are average law abiding people (just like us) who slip across the border simply to integrate into our society and live the American dream. They claim that Mexican leaders are not in control of the situation and that people are desperate to escape crime and social decline. In reality, government officials have long encouraged migrant caravans to traverse their territories and they have allowed illegal immigration into the US as a means to divert their failures into the laps of American taxpayers. Migrants aren’t trying to escape problems in Mexico, they ARE the problem in Mexico. The more of these caravans the Mexican authorities can get rid of, the better their economic situation appears. 10. Since tryouts are days away, I wanted to let the local baseball community know that a unique opportunity might interest to you (if you weren't aware) If you are ‘all set’ with your community/team – I completely understand and feel free to disregard. However, if you are looking for a 10U team that is starting from scratch, then here it is. My name is BJ Myers, and I am beyond thrilled to be working with Savage Baseball for this Developmental Team. I’ll briefly outline the Gameplan, and provide information for you (should you choose to pursue it further) Why am I doing this? You all know me, and you know how I am with Baseball and what it means to me. I just moved back after finishing my contract with the Navy and now live in Nederland (as my daughter is in Nederland School District) - I am currently working on my degree (thank you Post 9/11 GI Bill) and have a few years before I will be qualified (degree plus certifications) to pursue a High School coaching role. This [coaching youth baseball] is to further ‘sharpen’ my coaching skills – by taking on the challenge to teach the Game I deeply love and know, for a 10-year-old to understand. Much work has been put into this design, and it will work. Consider it a “working resume.” What is the focus for the Team? Fun. If you want a catch phrase – fine, “putting the FUN in fundamentals” – but I won’t be that cheesy. If a 10-year-old is not having fun playing Baseball, then I have failed him as a Coach. The absolute primary focus is for the athlete to have fun playing Baseball. Yes, there is going to be development and a giant focus on Fundamentals (it is going to be exactly what everyone says 10U ‘should’ be – Fun, Fundamental baseball) – but this Team is designed, and will be ran, with specific intentions. For the Player? I, as their Coach, am *never* going to lose sight of “They are 10…let’s keep things in perspective” Who am I looking for? I don’t want the established elites. Plus, let’s be honest, I’m sure they have already gotten themselves in a position where they are set with their organization, and that is great. I am looking for: Parents who can be honest with their child’s skill level and are willing to exercise patience in their training (I want the ones who ‘fall through the cracks’ – the ones who ‘need a little more time’), Players who have active imaginations (children with ADHD, mild autism respond very well to my Coaching), and a willingness to be Coached. I utilize my own designed drills, so I need the Player to be willing to “see the Game differently” because they have never been exposed to this type of training. I can’t stress this enough: the nerdier, the better. Throughout the season, I offer free private training for all my players (1, of many, perks for being on the Team), so your Player will get individual attention away from structured Team practices. Being a member of Savage Baseball allows us to utilize the Bullpen Sports Academy facility, as well. Once the Team is selected, it will be locked. I am not pursuing a W/L record – Again, they are 10, nobody cares what your record was at 10 years old – The Team will be locked so the long-term training can begin (I am aware of the “second wave” that occurs after Players don’t make their originally targeted Team – I don’t care. I want the Players who show up at tryouts, that is who I am “going forward” with) How many Players are you selecting? I’m looking for the *right* Players – and let’s be honest, for a 10 year old Team, 11 is the “ideal” number – so that is what I am looking for (but, again, it is about having the *right* Players) I am not going to care about: How hard your kid throws [if he can make the throw], How hard your kid hits [if he can make contact], and How fast your kid can pitch [if he throws strikes]. Experience is the key, and that is what this Team will deliver for these Players. Every Player will play multiple positions – both IF and OF, to gain experience. Every Player will have an opportunity to Pitch, even if it is to discover “they are not a Pitcher” – They are 10, this Team will have a fluid rotation for positions to maximize Playing Time/Experience. Every batting lineup will be an ambigram – Whomever is the leadoff for G1, will bat last G2 – a complete ‘balance’ to the lineup to best offer the same number of total plate appearances. The Players on this Team will become all-around Baseball Players (by season’s end) If I can “have it my way” – I am going to select: 6 IF’s and 5 OF’s. Pitchers will come from both groups and, over time, will ‘naturally settle’ with the Team’s Rotation Tryouts: July 12, 2025 @ 1130 am – Groves National Little League Expect to play around 2 tournaments a month when the season gets going – utilizing Beaumont, Sulphur, Lake Charles proximities to our advantage. We can discuss a ‘destination World Series’ – but at 10 years old, it would have to be a unanimous Parent Vote for that decision – Houston will, most likely, be the furthest we would travel. Schedule will be announced in an appropriate time (Tournaments for 2026 aren’t even created yet, but we will be just as active as any other 10U Team – you won’t miss out on anything) I am not coaching the Cuevas Team – This is a new team, starting from scratch, all roster positions are open. We currently have 22 Kids already registered for this 10U Tryout – I would love to see you out there, as more kids that show up make it easier to see which ones are the 'best fit' so everyone can get the most out of the experience. Please reach out to Savage Baseball’s Facebook page if you have any questions, or feel free to chat with me before/after tryouts – I’ll be there Saturday. This is going to be a special season, and it has been 10 years in the making. Also, Coaches in the 9U/10U Community – I am working on creating a ‘network’ for us to establish routine scrimmages/intersquads/controlled in-game situations – already have 4 on board – If you would like to be a part of this, let me know so we can further grow this into a “free practice league” to maximize live game reps for these kids. See you on the field! Very Respectfully, Coach BJ Myers

  12. The reekiest in history. By the biggest margin. Comes with a Nobel Peace Prize nomination attached to the bottle. MASGA Make America Smell Great Again
  13. I bet it reeks of success.
  14. I guess I’m blessed not to have dealt with divorce and with kids involved. I would probably be in jail. I know lots of men who would make the better single parent, but the courts see it differently. I count my blessings.
  15. My son came to live with me when he was two years old. His mom was supposed to pay $126/month…. Supposed to, lol.
  16. I use eau de OlDawg. Produced fresh daily. I’ve been told it’s di-stinked-ive.
  17. Just felt I could raise him better, in a more stable environment, and that he shouldn’t have to suffer because she decided she wanted out of our marriage. If we’d had a girl, I probably would have supported all I could—but not pursued managing custody. I would have felt she could’ve connected better with a daughter. Of course, she’s been through 3 husbands since. So, a daughter wouldn’t have had it great either I guess. Meanwhile, I’ve been married to my sweetheart, and lived in the same house, for 35 years. It took a lot for a man to get custody back in the ‘80’s in Texas. I was in and out of court for 5 years. Spent just about every dime I had because she kept accusing me of all kinds of stuff. You know the drill. As a man in a custody battle—guilty until proven innocent.
  18. 2 young, Hispanic counselors helped save many camp girls. So, the accusations appear false. Others have also looked at the camp literature and found no inference even of racism. Saw another article where some previous campers talked about the camp and they weren’t white. Evidently, a very popular camp. I’d never heard of it before. [Hidden Content] Yes. It would have been inappropriate—at the least—even if true.
  19. Brown finally having a bad outing. He was due one.
  20. I think he means the accusations about the camp. That’s what I got from his comment anyway… The accusations of racism, etc. have already been looked at & proven to not be substantiated.
  21. It IS true. Her boyfriend is even trying to smooth it over while disavowing her statements. She’s a sick, evil person and no apology is good enough for what she said about these children.

  23. John Brennan and James "86 47" Comey. [Hidden Content] They have some explaining to do... Love it!
  24. This is what I could find. Notice there are no exemptions for political affiliations. Yes, Texas does have FEMA. FEMA is the agency that provides disaster assistance to states, and Texas has been declared a disaster area for severe storms, straight-line winds, and flooding, making FEMA assistance available on FEMA.gov. Specifically, FEMA is providing assistance to Texas for the severe storms, straight-line winds, and flooding that began on July 2, 2025. FEMA's role in Texas includes: Supplementing recovery efforts: FEMA provides federal disaster assistance to help Texas recover from the recent severe weather. Operating Disaster Recovery Centers: FEMA, along with the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) and the State of Texas, is opening Disaster Recovery Centers to offer face-to-face help to residents. Providing Individual Assistance: FEMA's Individual Assistance program provides financial assistance to individuals and households for losses not covered by insurance, according to FEMA.gov. Supporting Public Assistance: FEMA also provides funding to state and local governments, as well as eligible private non-profit organizations, for emergency work and the repair or replacement of damaged facilities.
