If several of them seek medical treatment due to multiple degree burns on their hands it might indicate “negligence”. Most folks do not expect a group of kids to head to the ER after PE due to the day’s activity. I am fully aware that you have no concept of negligence even though another poster listed the legal definition.

Kpark hit the ball well off Nederland starter, gave up 9 hits, 8 earned runs before being pulled in the 3rd. 2nd pitcher for Nederland held Kpark in check until the 6th. A Kpark single, walk & HBP ended his nite in the 6th. 3rd Nederland pitcher came in & struggled getting strikes called walked in a run then walked in 3 more runs. Nederland defense played well, no errors to Kparks 3. Errors were not an issue for Nederland in this game. They did have couple base running mistakes in the game, ,one of the teams weaknesses all year.

He gave the kids 2 options for 2 different workouts in an "athletic" class. That's not pressure. Having kids do a common exercise on a track is not negligence or omission. If he left them there unattended maybe it would be. Law enforcement is investigating because that's what they're supposed to do when something is presented to them by parents.

Remember when white supremacy was the biggest threat to domestic terrorism..... [Hidden Content] Looks like the left is actually the ones assassinating people in broad daylight, shutting down our highways and bridges, throwing Molotov cocktails in Governors house and burning up Tesla's...... The left is in deep doo doo right now politically and morally......

He did not say he was cutting benefits. He said he was cutting waste, fraud and abuse. You are making things up to spread false information that supports your hate of trump. For you convenience, Below I have attached the ACTUAL BILL as passed by the house. Why don't you read all 1118 pages and tell the class where it says he's going to cut benefits for the true disabled....... [Hidden Content] -

@AggiesAreWe - If I thought for a minute this bill would deprive anyone with TRUE disabilities of benefits, I would be totally against this bill. Until it is proven different, I'm taking them at their word it is for waste, fraud and abuse. On a similar topic ( @Big girl listen close) - In my younger days I worked in EMS for 8 years, then after that I ran 2 different rent to own companies. In EMS, the "sick calls" when people call ambulances to claim they are sick (or may have a cold) to basically get a taxi ride across town was almost daily. 99.9% had no insurance. It was a loss for the ambulance company and hospital. If they had Medicaid, they were using an expensive emergency room for what could of been a Doctor visit at far less money. Hospitals do not turn sick people away like some of the left want you to believe. Rent to own - I worked for Rent A Center (hated that place btw) - 75-80% of our customers were on SSI or some type of government housing. They spent a significant amount of their money on Big Screen TV's and furniture. Some would furnish their entire section 8 apartment with rental furniture. I remember some paying 75-100 a week back in 1990.....$400 a month back then would of financed a Corvette.... Yet they needed housing assistance/food stamps?? Also, we were in the same parking lot as the food stamp office. There would be 100's of people selling their food stamps for 50 cents on the dollar.... That was back when there was no internet or ways to electronically scam the government.......Can you imagine now? So, I am for cutting waste, fraud and abuse........ -
txprepsoftball is showing Aledo/Melissa was a one-game playoff. Melissa won 15-4. Melissa bats vs. BH pitching. Should be a great matchup.

I don’t really care when/if the details come out. They probably won’t be completely revealing anyway. The problem I have is when they stand up and say it’s going to happen and never does. Just keep your mouth shut until you can back it up. -

Decreased funding= inadequate care. Nursing agencies could possibly receive lower reimbursement so they could refuse to accept Medicaid. We already have this problem so it is only going to get worse. -
This is just an unfortunate situation all around. When I was in JH, we were made to run 1.5 miles down a country road near the middle school once a week. It wasn't optional. Some kids were conditioned for it, some weren't. It wasn't uncommon to encounter dogs and all other types of things on these runs, but we rolled with it because we were kids and did what we were told. Had a kid passed out or had a run in with one of the dogs, could've been a similar situation to what we are seeing here, but it all worked out. It was the 90s so our parents probably would've just rolled with it since it was athletics, and we were supposed to be working out.

Like when you assumed Trump is going to kick kids on vents off of Medicaid? Hypocrisy at its finest. -
Not a Rangers fan, but this looks delicious….I couldn’t afford it….lol

Where do you come up with this stuff? Do you understand what negligence and omission mean? In this case the kids were presented with do something that was supposedly fun from TikTok or something not fun. That is pressure. Allegedly, the coach also pressured them verbally after some were wanting to stop. This has nothing to do with me. Why are law enforcement and the DA investigating? With no potential for an offense? BTW, you struggle with making up stuff on all of these threads.

Yeah I kinda thought Lumberton would have their hands full

Texas 22.041(c) (c) A person commits an offense if the person intentionally, knowingly, recklessly, or with criminal negligence, by act or omission, engages in conduct that places a child, elderly individual, or disabled individual in imminent danger of death, bodily injury, or physical or mental impairment. Texas Penal Code 6.03(d) A person acts with criminal negligence, or is criminally negligent, with respect to circumstances surrounding his conduct or the result of his conduct when he ought to be aware of a substantial and unjustifiable risk that the circumstances exist or the result will occur. The risk must be of such a nature and degree that the failure to perceive it constitutes a gross deviation from the standard of care that an ordinary person would exercise under all the circumstances as viewed from the actor's standpoint.

Why did the Woodville coach leave? I haven't been on here in a while and caught up. I saw it was a smaller school, and a rumor about family living out that way. Just wondering. Feels good to be back on here!!

There has to be some knowledge of potential danger for kids getting injured during a common exercise to be considered child endangerment. You making "2 choices" out to be some type of "pressure applied" seems like a desperate attempt to build your own case to me
-
Mr Falcon has done nothing more than address your questions. The question was asked previously was “what could he potentially be charged with”. The answer was “child endangerment”. You are somehow stuck on the fact that the incident is “unintentional”, intention is not required for child endangerment to be applied. There is a criminal investigation going and is not being conducted by “Mr Falcon” but instead by law enforcement and the DA. He may or may not face charges but myself and many others will not be surprised if he does.

This has to be one of the strangest coaching searches/hires for a premier program I can remember. Silsbee has to be one of the best jobs in the state based on potential to win big and consistently. No disrespect to Coach Brown, but did they ever win any post-season games at Anahuac? I remember them getting in a couple of times, but I cannot remember much beyond that. I thought this would have brought in some heavy hitters. Regardless, good luck to the Tigers moving forward.
