Trump, on Dec. 18, told NBC News ([Hidden Content]) that a war between America and Venezuela is possible while not-so-slyly hinting that his focus on that country's oil was linked to the potential for regime change there. He sounded more like a venture capitalist plotting a corporate takeover than an American president looking out for his country.

Turned it off at 27-0. King was done. Already suffered through the Aggie collapse. Only game I enjoyed Saturday was NS/Duncanville. The 'best' game of the bunch--to me--was either Newton making a comeback to make a game of it, or the impressive win by Smithson Valley. SV was so fundamentally sound, it was a joy to watch, even though I was rooting for PAM. I'm VERY happy with the Victory+ ability to stream free. They were solid broadcasts. I hope they continue.

Buna is clearly the third best team. Their only losses in district will be to EC and OF. Those games will be competitive. Could they slip up to a Warren or Hardin? Maybe. But I see them being the solid #3 seed. Kirbyville could be in the mix with those other four teams I mentioned. But I got them a step or two behind. They could upset a couple of those teams only because all 4 of these teams are not THAT good. I am very confident in those first three teams (Buna, EC, OF). But after those teams, it could be a free for all.
