I think the Rs will be lucky to hang onto the senate if the economy and geopolitical situations make a 180 degree turnaround. I’m thinking that the House is going D, no matter what.

No - Republicans don’t have enough votes in Senate to pass something that big. Now, if he can talk them into ending the filibuster, that would certainly change my answer. Everything depends on if Republicans keep house and senate on November. I think the focus after this Iran thing will be lowering prices and focusing on winning mid-terms.

We don't have Kelly on the schedule this time. It's Liberty, Shepherd, Crockett and Kountze and me personally I only see wins against Tarkington, Kountze and Buna (although I agree with you about the Cougars they should have beaten us last season).

I guess teams play to the competition, it’s something I’ve heard before, but it seems the Astros struggle with last place teams like the A’s, White Sox, Rockies,….etc. This is not a knock on the Stros, just an observation.

Astros are averaging 7 runs a game. Lead MLB in several offensive categories. Flip side, Houston is giving up 5.5 runs per game. Astro pitching is in the bottom quarter of the league in most of the pitching statistics. Only top 5 category is strikeouts and Opponent OBP.

My take…..great back and forth game. Astros up 3-0, down 5-3, tied @ 5, down 9-5, tied @ 9, up 10-9, lose 12-10. The one play I can pick out that really made the difference was the fly ball Myers lost in the sun. They have glasses for that. Best play was Altuve’s diving grab over 2nd base, turn and gun the runner at home for the 3rd out.

Abreu at his best. Jeckle and Hyde Fun game to watch. Except for our miscues.

Astros lose 12-10 in 10 innings. Abreu with a blown save. Gave up 3 run homer. Houston 6-4 in first 10 games.

Well, we have our first losing streak of the season after losing all 3 to the reds by a combined score of 4 to 9. In 2023, I harped on 1 run losses. So far this season the enemy is ourselves with runners left on base. I will have to do some research, for an official number, but his team can not get a baserunner home!!! mariners coming to Arlington for a Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday series. Season record: 4-5
