Never liked the dude... was nice to see him stand up against the bill and not be in lockstep! I'm guessing some things went on behind the curtains... typical government Welcome back President Musk đđ

Man, and the libs were starting to like him again. Guess theyâll start burning Teslas. Maybe all this was staged just to halt the Tesla attacks. It worked. Just giving the libs something to chew on.

Mr. Buddy Garrity replied to Ty Cobb's topic in Professional Sports- NFL, NBA, MLB, Etc
Knew we wasn't doing anything in that series after the 1st game. Hopefully a win streak starts tonight. -

The blue D.C. h#llhole is about to be cleaned up.
OlDawg replied to Separation Scientist's topic in Political Forum
Iâm sure the Dems will be screaming. After all the talk of gerrymandering, theyâve wanted to give statehood to DC & Puerto Rico for their congressional seats & electoral votes. Thatâs the only reason theyâve been pushing for it so hard. -

Thanks for the info. My brother is an LP grad from 46 years ago. I am an LP alum from 44 years ago, and my son is an LP grad from 20 years ago. Nowadays, I just watch for the enjoyment of watching the kids play. I understand the people, kids, and parents more involved currently are really happy with the staff. La Porte has always supported their programs pretty well over the decades. Of course, Coach Berneathy got his first coaching job at La Porte. So, he's a known, and he knows La Porte as well. I'm sure that makes it easier for everyone.

D.C. has suffered immensely under blue rule. Its has decayed beyond words. Look how D.C. compares to other dangerous, some even 3rd world capitals: CAPITAL HOMACIDE RATES (PER 100k) LIMA 7, HAVANA 4, NAIROBI 5, BRASILIA 13, LAGOS 15, BOGOTA 11, MEXICO CITY 8, ADDIS ABABA 6. WASHINGTON D.C. 41. These homicide numbers courtesy of Rep. Brian Babin. He just announced: For decades, Democrats have run our nationâs capital into the ground, turning it into one of the most dangerous cities in the world, with a homicide rate higher than many capitals in so-called âthird worldâ countries. Washington, D.C., should be a beacon of safety and pride for all Americans, not a cautionary tale. President Trump is taking action. On Monday, he will announce a bold plan to crack down on violent crime and restore law and order in our capital. With strong leadership, we can make D.C. one of the safest cities in America again. It wasn't always that way. Since BLM and wokeism, the culprits have been leftist DA's that refuse to prosecute crimes, no bail releases, DC's politicians war on the police, illegal criminal immigrants, and the feral children of D.C. running in the streets. Our nations capital has become a cesspool that Trump is about to drain. Thank You Rep. Babin! I hope Trump can make D.C. great again.

Everything about dems is fake, especially their outrage. These two take the cake. Question: Why doesnât Letitia James prosecute Adam Shiff for mortgage fraudâŚ.or better yet, prosecute herself? (Acquiring) minds want to know. Dem catch phraseâŚ..NO ONE IS ABOVE THE LAW!!!!!

I understand that you want to have faith in coaches, and he has turned it around in 3 years. But after coaching almost four decades I hate it when coaching ego or "the Franklin way" causes teams to lose. We as coaches can always blame the kids, but often it is the coaches stubborness or lack of innovation or just plain common sense that costs us, and by us i mean the team, coaches, school, administration and town. Right now Jackson Dart who may be a good quarterback from Ole Miss and now at the Giants, cannot take a snap from under center!!!!! Because EVERYONE offensively believes in the air offense, shotgun snap--whatever you call it. There is just things that go on, like in government, that coaches pull the wool over the publics eyes. Coaches, especially head coaches are the MOST important part of any team sport. And many are great leaders and build character in our young men. But some aren't and it , like society is getting worse every year. I would tell my defense at Crosby after each game, win or lose, to not point the finger but to look in the mirror and ask what I could have done different. I worked for Jerry Stewart, who had great success at Dayton, at Clear Lake in his first coaching job and that was the type of head coach he was. We turned a state champion basketball team Clear Lake (the year after La Porte won State) into a football power. Anyway, since i am a coach, retired, I know how much control coaches have. I also understand the pressure we are constantly under. I am going to start an online blog on Substack called "Fire the Coach cause we deserve better!" It will come out twice a week. Please follow and tell me what you think. I will start it on August 25 or26. [email protected] Isn't it great that football season is almost here!

Yes. Could be risky. But, I think not in this case. Weâve had a stronger than normal 2nd quarter, and 3rd quarters are typically solid. I donât think 50 basis points is too drastic with the adjusted employment numbers where theyâre sitting. While it wouldnât help the consumer right away, it would help business cash flow at a time when itâs needed. The other big item is the help it would provide the housing market. If the housing market could get back on its feet even a little, the economy would be in solid shape. Getting that benchmark down would help a lot. Still need more supply. But, it would be a big help for people financing, builders building, and even those remodeling to sell. Definitely wouldnât do what Trumpâs suggesting with a 300 basis point whammy. Thatâs just nuts. I think 50 is about right for a slow walk to see where it goes. Like I say, if we can get the benchmark to within 100 of inflationâand have stabilityâI could give a little on the Fedâs target. 2%? 2.5%? 2.75%?âŚall pretty relative and arbitrary. Weâre in a new situation with the tariff money. Needs to go to pay down debt. We donât need refunds. I know folks would like refunds. But, the long term issue is debt. There are enough tax breaks in the BBB that most will notice a pretty decent increase in take home pay. (Hopefully, theyâre smart enough to put some away in a rainy day fund.)

Houston is starting Cristian Javier tomorrow at home vs. Boston. Will be his first start since him having Tommy John surgery. Houston's Cristian Javier hasn't pitched in the majors since May 21 of 2024 but will be activated and start against Boston at Daikin Park. Astros will start Arrighetti on Tuesday and Brown on Wednesday.

Infusing cash before having an idea of how tariffs affect demand could be risky. Lowering rates to help finance an import tax is injecting money that will have zero productivity value. Again, donât see how taxing U S citizens to further international political agendas will end well. India because we want to two them where to buy oil, Brazil because Trump doesnât like the way theyâre treating Bolsonaro. That is not an economic plan.

Sousa did not give up a homerun. He did give up 2 hits and a BB in his 1/3 of an inning. Yankees scored on a Sac fly.
