Man, I remember hearing about Al, heard he was a beast. I played against his cousin Ted Bundy--think he was at Crawford, didn't stay long, heard he was running from the law. Wonder what happened to him. I heard Al also became a pee wee football coaching legend. Not sure. -

Full stop. Just boil it down to what it is after 7 years, and the attitude shown in the video. Thou shall not steal. No further explanation required. -

Woodville 1st and second team offense moved the ball pretty consistently all during the scrimmage. Main concern is it looks like they don't have the defensive lineup figured out. First and second team defense was swapping out pretty rapidly so maybe they were evaluating and hopefully they have it figured out now. There were probably at least 2 DLine guys practicing with 2nd team that should have been with first team. I also think we need K. Rigby playing a significant amount of snaps at OLB/MLB and D. Barlow playing around half the snaps at DT. Due to the situation with our defense I really thought Livingston should have scored more than that. They had 5 or 6 big plays scoring on 3 of them and didn't move the ball much other than that. -

Breaking News - TRUMP to release EPSTEIN files and client list!

There were “no line agents or investigators in the room who could serve as witnesses to what transpired in an extraordinarily rare interview between a possible government cooperator and the deputy attorney general.” Nothing about this process was conventional or normal. Trump “administration and Ghislaine Maxwell got exactly what they wanted from it. Can you say cover up? -

If it's ruled he moved for athletic reasons (which this clearly is), then residency won't matter. He will have to sit a year. I agree, after the DEC rules him ineligible, I can see them appealing it to SEC.

Question would be has his family moved into the district. If they have a verified residence then he might get eligible. Most likely go to the uil executive committee

Depth is their problem but Hemphill is in the same situation with depth minus the talent. I think Kountze wins this handily.
-
It's that time of the year again. Let's see who actually knows what they're talking about. Winners from last season were @KF89, @bullets13, and myself. @Mr. Buddy Garrity & @wo-s#1 also had good seasons. The old man @AggiesAreWe finished just outside the top 10. Not bad for being retired. Now the slate is cleared and everyone starts at zero. Contest begins 12:00 pm Sunday Locks on Friday at 7pm (subject to change) Open to everyone NO COPYING! Have Fun!

It's old news and nothing is going to change what was done for the last 3 seasons. Now that they're bringing things back it has to work. Right?

Yes. Good player. Had some strong runs. -
I got Nederland by 20.

Kountze has no depth… several playing both ways…defense will be okay but offensively they are in rough shape. I believe the QB that also plays safety actually has a Mcneese off to play defense… He is good but pretty much all they got
-
I thought the defense played well. The 1’s allowed one TD in each portion of the scrimmage. The 2’s allowed a couple but I would expect a 6A school to have more depth than us. I think Nederland is going to be pretty solid again this year. They will improve each week as we did before. Not sure what Lumberton has but I believe they were pretty young last year. I’m not expecting to blow them out as bad this year, but Nederland should win comfortably. I hope both teams learn a lot from this game that they can use to build upon.

Who wins this ballgame??

Maybe because academics is what school is for. Sports is extracurricular and not mandatory. It's a privilege, not a right. Most do not want school choice. Sports is not part of the curriculum. It's extra. One can go thru K-12 without playing any sports and graduate.. One cannot do that without taking some English or math class. That's the difference.

I got PNG in this one,

UIL rules on transfers stink. if a parent wants their child to play at a different school, they should be allowed transfer immediately with the exception of no in season moves. No more sitting out a year garbage. Everyone wants school choice until it comes down to football. why would you want someone who doesn't want to be there? Parents move their kids for academics all the time. They don't make the kid sit out a year. So what if the move was for athletic purposes. If athletics is part of the school curriculum then parents should be able to put their kid in the best possible spot without any say so from the former school. This has got to stop.
