  1. Past hour
  2. Well, it has progressed past protesting. An innocent Jewish couple has been murdered. Notice how this term is never used by the media. They say “shot and killed” instead. I hope you Palestinian bleeding hearts are proud. You have blood on your hands. Remember, Hitler was the biggest antisemite ever. [Hidden Content]
  3. Today
  4. “Child Endangerment” would be one potential charge.
  5. 2009 beat CE King 1st round lost to Brenham in regional final
  6. What exactly would they charge him with?
  7. this is from the news article: "It's a complete disregard for common sense," McCulley tells KFDM. "12 to 14 parents have raised complaints. These are burns. We'll try to determine the average temperature of the track. We're gathering facts, medical information, taking statements. We understand one coach objected to what was happening. We'd like to talk with both coaches. The information is coming in fast. We expect to meet with District Attorney Lucas Babin as early as Wednesday. He would decide whether to take it to a grand jury for possible criminal charges."
  8. May have been part of the deal. I know if I am Brown I would want them to stay.
  9. Brookeland 8 Avalon 2 Final (Brookeland leads series 1-0)
  10. They were 11-12 year olds. Not anywhere near adults yet but I would think old enough to forfeit an activity causing bodily harm. I would think they would have a better idea if the ground was burning the skin off their hand than he did.
  11. How old the kids were is gonna be a big issue,if they were high school then I could see “opting out…not elementary kids
  12. Would they really say anything else if they wanted to keep their jobs. . Lol
  13. I don't see how that would go far if he didn't personally inflict injuries on them. From what I hear it was an optional workout and some kids opted out with no consequences.
  14. Yesterday
  15. Saw where they are trying to file felony charges on him.
  16. Astros win a couple and lose a couple. Some days pitching is good but poor offense. Some days offense is good but pitching is bad. Sometimes both are ok. As of today 5-21-25 they are an average team Meyers, Pena, 3rd baseball are hitting pretty good Main problem is they can’t find a catcher, 1st baseman, 2nd baseman, and DH that can hit. As of today Alvarez is a big disappointment as well as the 1st and 2nd baseman they aquired Hopefully they will get it going
  17. Brown was due for a stinker game.
  18. 3 dingers still lose 8-4. Pitching not too good today. Paredes 2 dingers 6 last 9 games.
  19. Understood. Most people around town who know him don't believe he intentionally wanted to harm the kids. He's just a guy who's passionate about the game and the program and kids and values toughness because that's what was taught to him in the program. He just went too far this time and I don't think he was aware of the harm it was causing the kids at the time. Lot of folks will say he "should've known" and I don't disagree with that but we've all probably had moments where we weren't aware of things we "should've known".
  20. I watched a number of his games when he coached at Kirbyville and then watched a few of his games when he coached at Anahuac. When I interviewed him and watched those games I always thought he was a very promising young coach and an outstanding young man. I believed Coach Neace first hired him in Kirbyville before he left for Newton. When he became athletic director in Anahuac he immediately called for Mr. Brown. He is a little different type of coach from Joe Sigler but I bet everyone is pleasantly surprised with his results.
  21. Never want to be in the news. Especially with injuries to young kids. Going to be difficult to recover professionally (at least in education).
  22. Not exactly clear on what you're saying, but my doctor at MD Anderson told me the research they do relies heavily on AI and is one of the reasons that treatment and cures for all sorts of maladies, not just cancer related, are being developed so quickly and so successfully in this modern age. Diagnostics and imaging play a huge role too. She told me that a program that came out in 2023 (Google's AI platform, I think) detected lung cancers with higher accuracy than human doctors. While I don't have lung cancer, I can see where that would be a huge benefit to mankind in general. I like having the human element be the "final check" for anything AI, but to discount it totally would be foolish.
  23. I dont like using AI for medical things like charting. The medical professional doesn't have to think critically. I do my own care plans. Using AI to post videos about what people are supposedly saying, that is incorrect. Sometimes answers that you get from AI are wrong.
  24. Coach Carter is coming from Coldspring this past year.
  25. So no more state semis at ut or at dell? dang.
  26. 1. I have no doubt this has happened to me, if not with Siri then with Alexa. 2. Very good point - totally agree
