  1. Past hour
  2. They didn’t lose anything to graduation from last year? Opposing teams haven’t gotten a year older/stronger/faster ? Opposing coaches haven’t also changed staffs or been exposed to different preparatory programs? No.. A TON has changed. As does everywhere.
  3. Couple of things of note. Defense, especially against the run, is stout this year. Secondary had a few miscues, namely from the one Sr. CB that got burnt a few times. I think he made up for it with the game sealing interception though. Our passing game needs serious work. We have guys that can catch and we have probably the best WR in the district but we have subpar qb plan and subpar plays called in passing situations. Well, we have 3 more games to fix this issue. Let’s see if this coaching staff will figure it out. I was really impressed with our running game. #1 and #22 will be huge this year. Finally, on special teams, we need help in the kicking game. The kid that’s kicking extra points will need some serious work. Other than that, it was good to see a win on the road and with horrible refing. Look forward to checking the Wolves out next week.
  4. Definitely aren’t losing in the regular season unless god forbid an injury or two happens.
  5. 15 Katy would arguably be best large school ever. but that’s a topic to itself
  6. Westwood could go undefeated? QB has major offers. Has a younger brother (8th grade) that’s dunking the basketball.
  7. Your likely to be proven right unless changes are made. Definitely have no chance against Newton and might lose a few more before Newton.
  8. Johnson at QB is going to give everyone hell. Its been a while since Silsbee has had a legit dual threat QB. Last one I remember was Dontre Thomas. Silsbee OL is legit and has a bunch of size. #0 and #20 are good at RB. WRs will continue to improve but I liked #6 in particular. The more reps the better he will get. DL maybe be one fo the best in the district. Great job adjusting and stopinf the run. LB could be the Best in 4A overall. Good speed all around. Secondary very young by plays hard. Almost had a pick 6 in the 4th. Silsbee had to have around 15 penalties last night. Some were questionable but were called. It is week 1 and alot of games left Overall Grade B-
  9. I just quoted and asked the same thing before I scrolled down and saw this comment
  10. Better than ‘83 daingerfield? Not trying to debate, I know nothing about the Yates team you speak of. edit: never mind, saw someone else say the same and your answer further in the thread
  11. Today
  12. Probably going to go ahead and add this round to the list of things where "I am was right, and you were wrong". FYI, WV does not have the same talent level that they had last year. Still likely to make the playoffs.
  13. Excellent prediction.
  14. Yea I honestly didn't think they would keep that same lineup on the DLine. But the head coach isn't known for good defenses and the DC might be too old to care so
  15. Nothing to do with politics? Society is molding these confused minds and the schools are guilty as sin. Of course these two boys are Christians, but that has nothing to do with it…..nah. [Hidden Content]
  16. Starting into those "6 games", looks a lot like the scrimmages.
  17. If you don't put em on the field they won't have a chance to
  18. About time to get those "ballers" to show up.
  19. I knew Bellville would need a near perfect game to pull the upset over Celina and for a half they did that… But starting the second half with a fumble on your own 20 and Celina scoring the next play was a recipe for disaster… especially with the caliber of offense of Celina. Then another fumble on the opposing teams 35 and you have dug too big of a hole. I’ll also say this… Everyone knows about Celinas 5 star QB Bowe Bentley but I think he can kinda overshadow how good their RB is. I know he has a offer from Lamar so hopefully they can reel him in because he is a stud… Good news is Bellville got out of the game injury free and wouldn’t have to see a offense of that caliber unless they make it to Carthage. Plenty of good to build on moving forward
  20. Nothing has changed till this year. I'll tell you that much.
  21. Why are you surprised? Same schedule as last year. Remember your comment “way to challenge yourself BC” next week while skull dragging New Waverly at halftime. 😂 With that being said, this year’s Bayou Bowl is shaping up to be a good one. OF is looking for a great year with a big win vs Woodville. Both teams should be 2-0 going into the game.
  22. Well.. that settles it. We should definitely go ahead and order their state championship rings. I mean.. winning since peewee? No reason for a loss.. ever. Everyone knows that absolutely nothing changes for a player between the ages of 10 and 18, right? (Extreme eye roll)
  23. SOC over North Shore for me.
  24. After being down 24-6, the defense took the game over.
  25. Biggest surprise to me was LaMarque beating Huffman. SMH on that one.
  26. Post your grief here.
