  1. Past hour
  2. BTW, I need to correct myself on the all time series between these two teams. I incorrectly posted that Silsbee led the series 2-1 going into this game. The correct record was 3-0 for Silsbee. So this was the first time ever for West Brook to beat Silsbee.
  3. I’m certainly not most people and I agree with this search. Obscenity would shut a lot of mouths. I don’t believe anyone should say “F” you to police. Freedom of speech in the U.S. is not absolute and does not cover incitement to imminent lawless action, defamation, obscenity, child pornography, fraud, true threats, or speech that causes a substantial and material disruption in specific contexts, like a school. The First Amendment applies only to government restrictions, not actions by private entities like employers or social media companies. Categories of Unprotected Speech The First Amendment does not protect the following types of speech: Incitement to imminent lawless action:Speech that is intended and likely to produce immediate illegal activity. Defamation:False statements of fact that harm someone's reputation. Obscenity:Material that appeals to the prurient interest, is patently offensive, and lacks serious literary, artistic, political, or scientific value. Child Pornography:Any material depicting actual minors engaged in sexually suggestive conduct or nudity. Fraud:False statements made with the intent to deceive. True Threats:Statements that express a serious intent to commit an act of unlawful violence against a particular individual or group. Fighting Words:Insults that are likely to provoke a violent physical response. Context-Specific Limitations Schools:Speech by students can be restricted if it causes a material and substantial disruption to the school environment. Protests:The police can break up a lawful protest if there is a clear and present danger to public safety, the protest interferes with traffic, or there's an immediate threat. Limitations on the Application of the First Amendment Government vs. Private Entities:The First Amendment only restricts government action; it does not apply to private companies or organizations. For example, a private company can fire an employee for their speech, or a social media platform can ban users for content that the government could not
  4. I don't think BU gets shut out, I'll say that at least. 😎💪🏾 At the moment Port Arthur Memorial is a 35pt favorite, I expect that to change by Monday/Tuesday.
  5. District opener at The Butch. This should be a good one. 🤷🏾‍♂️
  6. The truth of the matter is, most people only want free speech when it agrees with their own thoughts and ideas.
  7. My plays from this list: Utah -3.5 Illini +6.5 South Carolina +9.5 Miami -8.5 tu +39.5 Mich. St. +19.5 I normally stay away from large spreads but I believe Sark will keep Arch in longer than he should just to send a message that they "Are back!!!". lol
  8. Today
  9. Evadale is not what they use to be
  10. Jimmy Kimmel and his hate filled “free speech” is responsible for Charlie Kirk’s death. Freedom of speech is not a license to incite hate. Even Geraldo Rivera said that. Who is really going to miss Kimmel’s show? It wasn’t even a talk show. It was simply a mouthpiece for the left.
  11. He's definitely a "glass half empty" guy. Astros are not just 1 game back of Seattle, but they are also just 1 game back of being the #2 overall seed in the AL. Lot's can happen over these last 8 games and they all are not negative like someone would lead you to believe.
  12. They were big for sure…It’s pretty impressive how far they have come from last year…
  13. Already giving up on this series? Astros don’t need fair weather fans. Heck, you’re not even that.
  14. It's more about the coaches knowing about the "players" they're coaching then knowing more about coaching. It looks like things might shape up to be OK right now though
  15. Interested to see how WV progresses throughout the season. Really want to understand who actually "knows more" about coaching between the WV coaches or the WV fans.
  16. That would ring true on any website not owned by the Government.
  17. I don't recall the left being free speech champions during the 2016 election when Trump lost his platform on Twitter during a Presidential election....OR, during covid with everyone. I posted receipts in this tread earlier of Kamala, Schumer and Jefferies of trying to persuade free speech. To me, banning a Presidential candidate from the largest social media platform was one of the worst "free speech" issues in my lifetime, yet the left seemed pretty happy about it.......
  18. Very true. This is a single ownership website. No democracy here. His rules. Like it or leave it.
  19. Probably a mixture of Diboll not being that good offensively and maybe some small changes on defense. Diboll broadcasters did say Davion Hill had a good game. Didn't see him at all vs OF or Anahuac and he played limited snaps at DT against CS. I personally don't think he's stiff enough to play DT yet as a sophmore and would rather see him play the edge this year. He might have still been able to showcase some of his ability at DT against Diboll because their OLine isn't that good though. Also I think Kelley, Harris, and Mitchell all played good in the secondary creating multiple turnovers through fumbles and picks. Just a good night for the eagles 🦅
  20. West Brook big played Silsbee for this win. Of the seven TD's, six were 30+ yards or more, with four being 50+ or more.( includes the 90 yard pick six) Silsbee actually finished the game with almost three times as many first downs as WB. Can't say I have ever seen a game where that stat came with a 35 point loss. Silsbee moved the ball fairly well between the 20's. Just never could get it in the endzone efficiently. West Brook was just too fast on both sides of the ball for the Tigers. I think I may have to attend that WB at PAM game on Oct. 17.
  21. I saw that, now people are making excuses for the Florida commit for doing that.. pretty pathetic.
  22. When folks get on here and post things that go against the rules they get banned..........no crying about free speech
  23. Miss Jasmine, AOC, Maxine Waters, Hank Johnson, the late not so great SheJack et al are what is wrong in DC these days. But it tells you alot about their districts that they keep going back to DC
  24. I agree with this for sure. Especially with HF’s D-1 DB/LB out for the year. Sure would’ve helped keep things more respectable last night. The horns had pretty decent coverage most of the night. A lot of their big plays were just their 6’2”-6’3” receivers going up and winning jump balls over our 5’10” defensive backs. Credit to their line and qb for creating the time for their big guys to get down field to win them, though.
  25. I think there were 2 face masks, a late hit, a crack back block, a taunting, and 2 pass interferences. Undisciplined for sure, but very talented. If they can reign in the penalties they’re going to be tough to beat this year.
  26. 6 PFs in a game is too many, much less in a half. They may be good but they have a problem IMO. Most if not all good coaches will read a team the riot act after 3 or so.
