I hope it's legit. I'm suspicious of any school that jumps from 65 to 86 in one year and climbs nearly 30 points in 3 years, especially when it's a campus that's traditionally gotten D/F ratings. maybe they have an amazing new administration or something.

In the DCTF preview for EC, only Fontenot is listed as a QB. No other player is mentioned at that position.

He started at least one game during the year then came into the first-round playoff game after the starter was injured and played very well. I think I am remembering that correctly.

Ive heard from a source close to Babin , Woodville did not check the box and he is cleared to play

It's my understanding that Woodville checked the box for athletic purposes and the DEC for 18-6A has not met to decide on the eligibility. Barbers Hill was waiting on the PAPF to be sent from Woodville. But that was a month ago.

Sounds like someone wants some cheese with their whine! Graduated from EC many years ago, and when you have a school that is all around strong in everything from athletics to UIL to FFA, etc. the school sales itself. Why would people not want their kids go to a school that is as well balanced and competitive in every aspect of school life.
