  2. The Cowboys will probably be the second most penalized NFL team after tonight. IMO, whoever the LB’er coach and secondary coach or coaches need to be fired at the end of this season. Those positions have to be the worst in the NFL. Why do they not kick into the end zone and put it on the 25 instead of getting it on the 40+ every time The kick off team is bad. Offensively every time they make a good play a penalty brings it back and 3 turnovers Jerry and the Cowboys will be sitting at the house again. The question is can they win 2 more and wind up 8-8-1 are will they fold the tent
  3. Back in the 60s, '67 maybe, my folks recorded the radio play-by-play of the PNG - Ned game on a reel-to-reel tape recorder of some sort, and sent it to my older brother who was on a Navy destroyer in Viet Nam. He later said that it was a huge hit on board the ship. I guess it must have been a close game that year.
  4. If you’re talking about this SI page about top high school rivalries, it was a fan poll and not a SI journalist ranking MCM #1 [Hidden Content] Either way, MCM is of course one of the best.

  7. The PN-G fan base holds the #1 record for attendance at a single game in the United States, at 49,953. Since championship games are multi-game formats now, that record we hold will never be broken. Times have changed since streaming didn't exist back then in the late 70's. And smart phones, computers, and just a different generation. Even when we packed out the entire side of the Astrodome in 1999, the total crowd was only 39, 000. (30,000 PN-G fans and 9,000 Stephenville). Our crowd with SOC in Cowboys Stadium in 2022 was only 32,000 as reported. PN-G's fan base is still top 5 easy. We are also involved in the #1 rivalry game in America too. (Nederland in our district), according to Sports Illustrated. I always thought PN-G owned Friday Night Lights, based on some of these numbers above, as well as the history of state championships to back it up. I think the glory years of 1974-1977 that includes a state championship in 1975, a state finalist in 1977 and two semi-finalists in 1974 and 1976, is about to be broken with a new dynasty forming. 2022: 13-3 State Finalist 2023: 15-1 State Champions 2024; 12-2 State Quarter-Finalist 2025: 13-0 so far...

  14. I’m thrilled for this game. Think how many teams wait generations to be in a game like this. Always be faithful.
  15. From the article: "The Supreme Court just stayed a lower court order blocking the new redistricting map in Texas from going forward, allowing Republicans in the state to begin using the new map. Kagan, Sotomayor and Jackson all dissented. Of course." Honest question: How can we expect at least one of these dissenters to know the Constitution when she doesn’t even know what a women is?! 17. Baytown Sterling would have to make playoffs for United to go D2. They are the 2nd largest behind West Brook. I don't see that happening.

  21. That's a downgrade lmao 🤣 Penn State is a dumpster fire smh.
  22. What schools in the district would have to make the play offs for them to split and one go big school and one go small school? Man, how crazy would it be if Beaumont had 2 state champions in the same year!
