It didn’t matter what players they played today. They didn’t look good and have you looked at Davis record vs these 3 teams and most importantly at his record in conference tournaments They are not very good. That is why I said don’t be surprised if they don’t make it to the championship series!

[email protected] Tom Halliburton’s Track Volume 38, No. 11 ____ _May 10, 2026 First off, these are excursions which fans, coaches, athletes and friends remember for the rest of their lives. There’s a job to be done in Austin but have some fun too. The pressure is greater to reach the UIL state championships than to compete at it. Second, expect it to be windy. Don’t be intimidated by the wind or the large crowd at Mike Myers Stadium. This facility was built on a hillside and the typical prevailing south wind will surprise if you’re not ready for it. Third, don’t be intimidated or feel over-confident due to any regional qualifying times. every region contains different climate conditions – different humidity, wind and temperature can make the individual performances vary a whole lot. Our immediate Southeast Texas area is entered in seven events in 3A, eight in 5A and nine in 4A. The following pages contain the events for our area athletes in the lane assignments for running events in all classifications. Class 5A field events are listed in the order of participation. The athletes in Class 3A and 4A field events are not listed in the order of their participation. on Thursday. Did y’all see the latest poop on the Trump smart phones? 600,000 (including Reagan, I’m sure) plunked down $100 deposits on the “American made” Trump T1 phone last year, with a fall of 2025 anticipated date of delivery. The first thing that changed was the “Made in America” language disappeared because they quite simply can’t be manufactured here. Then the deadlines got pushed back a month, then another month, then Q1 of 2026, with the last updates to the website (Apr 2026) letting the MAGA idiots who put money down that “there will be no refunds, and there is no guarantee that you will receive a phone.” That’s a slick $60 million to the grifter in Chief. [Hidden Content] Suckers.

Should have kept Dubón. Correa (even though he is now hurt) is not a leadoff batter, Alvarez should bat 3rd. Now we have rumors of trading Alvarez.

Can’t add anything to what Aggie covered. On your quotes, we should all be concerned. Numbers 3&4 really jump out at me. I’m not a member of the Republican Party, but their conservative views align more with what I believe. Democrats have lost touch with what Americans want and have zero policy. Their collusion with communists and Islamist is very worrisome. Siding with criminals is unacceptable and will trigger vigilante justice if not curbed.

Lamar Baseball 2026
myrecordwashorrible replied to myrecordwashorrible's topic in Lamar Sports Forum
If I'm reading the standings and tiebreakers correctly, LU will face SFA with UTRGV and Northwestern State facing off in the "Beaumont" bracket next week. SELA, Nicholls, McNeese and HCU (clinched final spot today) will be in the "Hammond" bracket. Go Cards and any team other than SELA on the other side of the bracket if you want ball at The Beck for 2 more weeks. Uncle Spidey ends the season complaining. Ag is irritated. All is right in SETX land. In the words of General Patton, "God help me, I do love it so." -
Did you not read the post before yours that Lamar played several back ups today? Several every day starters sat out due to Lamar having already clinched the #2 seed. Pitched several guys who needed some work. But then again, it's a very normal post for you. Carry on.
-
Zero offense 3 hit 5-0 shutout loss. IMO I know they are switching lineups trying to find the right combo but they can never learn to play with each other it seem like.

After watching Lamar vs HCU today and realizing that they rarely play well vs the 3 teams in their bracket, I do not believe they have much of a chance to make it to the championship series. In fact the way they have played in conference tournaments under Davis, do not be surprised if they go 0-2 in the tournament

Outfield (infield is turfed) in Hammond has been deemed unplayable. Lamar will be the 2 seed regardless of the outcome of today's game against HCU. LU has replaced most of the starting position players and did not bring the starting pitcher after getting in only a half inning of yesterday's game. -

Today is the 41st game for Houston. Astros have had 41 different lineups. They have not replicated one lineup this season. That's what a mass of injuries to ever day players will do to a ball club.
